fishnut 2,358 Posted December 12, 2019 Chicken of the jungle. It tastes pretty good but the texture is weird, kinda stringy. Best in small bites deep fried. Flordia needs to step up and make a permanent bounty on invasive species heads.
Displaced Texan 11,765 Posted December 12, 2019 Hmmmmm, deep fried iguana...maybe with a honey mustard dipping sauce. I know how I’d solve this problem. Get with the program, Florida!

At least some counties did, I don’t know if they still do. We used to hunt them with .22’s.

Along with smaller problems with boas and other exotic invasive species. Oh yeah @Displaced Texan there is plenty of wild boar too Flordia is a mess as far as invasive wildlife is concerned
Displaced Texan 11,765 Posted December 12, 2019 I have my own wild boar problem. I do NOT have a problem with lion fish, boas (although I have plenty of rattlesnakes), nutria rats, pythons, or iguanas. WTF is a tegu? Pretty sure I can arrange a party to deal with the wild boar problem if it gets too bad .
Zeke 5,504 Posted December 12, 2019 This sounds like awesomeness in the crockpot! Sweet baby rays! Low! 4 hours! And for @silverado427.... pineapple.

Definitely game on with the deep fried iguana
fishnut 2,358 Posted December 12, 2019 A nice lion fish ceviche followed by iguana bites and a main course of wild boar ribs would make for a great invasive species dinner. No crockpot needed Who.needs rock lobsters and mahi mahi haha
