RecessedFilter 222 Posted November 28, 2016 All of the super uptight legality wanna-be lawyers in here all the time and numerous people suggest driving this thing to PA and risk getting pulled over? I can't believe a ton of NJGF member's heads didn't explode with this thread. Hahaha.
mustang69 505 Posted November 29, 2016 I cant believe this is such an issue. Just another reason to get out of here. I appreciate all the folks who offered to buy it but... For the record I do not own any prohibited firearms and am certainly not selling any. The advice i passed along was "call an attorney who is familiar with NJ law". JT Custom Guns 957 Posted November 29, 2016 Does not matter - if you have the Parts to Build an assault weapon in your possession that too is a felony................
PK90 3,570 Posted November 29, 2016 Why not sell it to a forum vendor? Name your price. Sent from an undisclosed location
JC_68Westy 1,024 Posted November 29, 2016 I would buy it. Have him ship it to my FFL.

capt14k 2,052 Posted December 11, 2016 It's sad the fear that having a WWII Rifle that helped win the war instills in people in NJ. Go on gunboards post it for sale. Use a different username and anonymous email. Break rifle down, box up parts, put receiver in trunk, barrel in backseat, other parts wherever, transport to PA, re-assemble rifle, ship from PA Post Office to FFL01 or FFL03. Want to be even safer pay PA FFL to ship for you. If pulled over no cop is going to know what you have. Once across border it is perfectly legal to have in your possession, perfectly legal to ship. These measures are extreme. Do not bring to NJ FFL. Do not bring to Local or State PD. There is a good chance of having a piece of history destroyed. Plus you could be arrested for violation of an unjust law. Why hasn't any of the Second Amendment Groups in NJ pushed to have the M1 Carbine removed from the Assault Weapons List? It is something that could likely actually get done and should be near the top of their Agendas. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk

njJoniGuy 2,131 Posted December 11, 2016 Not the 2A groups, but the legislature was. They're the ones who included it on the banned list. As we've seen numerous times since Florio brought us the ban, the 2A groups in NJ have been ineffective in having the legislature make ANY changes to it. Don't blame the victim, blame the oppressor.
