Hello all, While on vacation and having a couple permits comung in, I'm looking for milsurp dealers. I'm a regular at FSS and was browsing their inventory the other day, I hit the heritage guild in Rahway yesterday and the Yankee Armorer today. Is there any other shop I should visit that doesn't require me to spend an hour plus in the car or leave the state to find a godd selection of milsurp pistols? Thanks, Sam

That's another thing people don't do much anymore, roll their lawns. Back when I had my own landscaping company I used to roll problem lawns when they got soft after the winter thaw to even out the heaving from freezing. It also flattens mole tunnels. I would also roll a new lawn after the seed was put down. The guy I work for now doesn't do that. If you have high spots you should probably shave them off with a spade and a landscapers rake. If the high spots are really bad, like mounds of dirt or construction vehicle tire tracks, a box scraper will do the trick. Conversely, if you have low spots, fill them in with top soil.

Ah noted. Will do. My lawn's so rough I'll be scraping dirt in some places though. I'll play with the heights.

I'll be there on Saturday to meet a Vizsla breeder that I will probably be getting a dog from in the next year.

I usually see the rifles around the 300.00 mark but would never part with any of mine for that.....

For replacement parts for old Mossberg rifles, check out Havelin Sales. I don't have the link handy but Google them. I have purchased some parts from them for my 144, including the little red and green buttons as well as a new trigger guard. The original trigger guard pulled away from the stock.

Over 200 military, police, and citizen shooters from all across the country converged in Alliance Ohio for the 2nd annual "Friends Of Pat" memorial. We spent all day Saturday on the range shooting. Some of the best carbine and pistol instructors out there came to participate as instructors and students. All classes were taught from a "fighting mindset". Representatives from every special unit you can think of were there - and probably a few you never heard of - to teach and learn.

Mayweather/McGregor seems like the biggest scam pulled in boxing history. Looks like the ref was paid off by TMT. Saved his a$$ soo many times. I am glad that Mayweather came out on top, even tho i hate this wife beater! Overall, it was a bull$hit circus. -waiting for the real showdown.....Team G3!

A lot of the reloading experience depends on your attitude and what you are trying to accomplish. I only shoot my own reloaded ammo. Bulk pistol I knock out by the hundreds in an hour or two. Reloading precision ammo is the only way you get superb accuracy. If I was a banger just throwing lead down range, I probably wouldn't reload. But that's not the case. As far as picking up brass...Bulk pistol ammo I don't agonize over but pick up at the end with a nut picker. But my expensive cases I shoot next to a Walmart fold up laundry basket because the cases are about a buck a piece.

They're actually not focusing on gun channels. It's a long story, but I'll try and make it short. Over the last few years, old media (TV, newspaper, radio, HBO etc.) has been losing massively to new media (social media, Youtube, Netflix). This caused sort of a "war" in the industry. One particular journalist from the Wall Street Journal decided to fire a shot, directly at the Youtuber with the highest subscriber count, Pewdiepie. He dug up a video where Pewdiepie made some Nazi jokes and another where he paid a guy $5 to hold up a sign saying Hitler Did Nothing Wrong as a (very distasteful) joke. He then followed up this salvo with some screenshots of hate videos for things like white supremacy or ISIS, next to ads for Pepsi and H&M; The reported alleged that Youtube was not doing enough to control where ads appear and thus is not a desirable place for advertisers. It later turned out that this same reporter was in the process of trying to patent software related to controlling what content ads appear on. He was also likely just jealous big brands are advertising on Youtube instead of his dying paper. It also turned out some of his screenshots were fake, and that he had made the same sort of jokes about Jews and African-Americans on his Twitter. None of this matters because people only read headlines. Thus begins the "ad-pocalypse". Companies, fearing a PR nightmare of having their logo next to hate speech, as well as probably wanting to take any chance they can to pay less for advertisements, start pressuring Youtube to remove their ads. The reality is that Youtube can't "smartly" filter for this. 300 hours of video are uploaded every minute. Yes you read that correctly. All they can do is make software, specifically "the algorithm" to try and control content. The design of this software is secretive for obvious reasons, it's like their 11 secret herbs and spices. Some people speculate, that it controls content based on machine-learning from several selected thumbnails from the video, snippets of audio content, keywords in the title and description, or a combination of all that. So it's wrapped a lot of channels up in getting demonetized. For example, it can conflate a video about not bullying LGBT teens with sexual content. It can stop a video about ending animal abuse because it contains animal abuse, etc. It makes no sense and they're likely working on it. But this is pretty cutting edge technology and I wouldn't expect a fix overnight.

I'm in Delran so the closest big gun shop to me is Cheyenne's in Bordentown on rt 130. Their prices are great on some things and high on others, but they always seem to have CZ's in stock....that's where I got the 2 I already have and I have the permit application on my desk at work to get 3 more permits so I can buy another CZ. Or 2.
