He stole the election, now he's trying to add to his creds for his 2024 presidential run. What evil people he and his cohorts are.

Those idiots tried again, but apparently someone already pointed to the Heller decision. Fuck them for all of this!

Nationally, CCW is already favorable. It's a handful of states that are problematic. They don't need to be that specific. Simply state it shall not be discretionary, and any disqualifying parameters must be objective, and exceptional. Or better yet state that anyone who is not disqualified from owning a firearm (keep) shall not be forbidden by a permitting process form carrying it (bear). Slap that on top of strict scrutiny, and NJ can fuck around, but they will find out in court.

People need to stop perpetuating this. CA is the ONLY state that has ever mandated microstamping. All these references are to "ballistic fingerprinting" databases. MD and NY had them, and that was why for the longest time you got two spent shell cases in the box with every pistol. Those were useless too, but for different reasons than microstamping. Microstamping does NOT exist. There is a patent, and it kind of works. But there is no mass manufacturing scale method to implement it. The patent rights have been waived, but there are still not practical implementations of it. It doesn't have a success rate higher than tool marks, and it is easily compromised. If it magically existed, it'd still be useless for the same reason the ballistic fingerprinting was. That's simply because there is seldom a need to identify a firearm to solve a crime. Identifying the firearm doesn't place anyone at the scene of the crime, and they need to prove Bob was there and did it, not that this particular gun we can't prove Bob from the hood ever owned was used.

So I got to start breaking it in, needed to sight it in today too. I have about 80 rounds through it now using a mix of the match ELD and match black factory ammo. The 3 shot groups I was taking my time on after sight in, I was also cleaning the gun after every 10 shots. All Shots @ 100 yards. Going to load up some ELD 108's with Leverevolution, CFE223, and Varget and start to do some testing. Im pretty happy with it as of now with factory ammo and just breaking it in. I can see the potential to be under 1/2" consistently once i dial it in. Still cant find brass, Im going to try and resize some grendel brass and fire form it. I have brass on backorder but wont be in until September.

It will be the last day, just like every 2a case before it. Every article not reporting the decision is just click bait.

NJ just had its "we don't care if you're eligible under LEOSA, you still have to get a NJ carry permit, and you can't carry hollowpoints" restriction struck down: https://storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.uscourts.njd.434536/gov.uscourts.njd.434536.60.0.pdf ------ -----

I got the same responses from the same people as you, everybody else just an automated message.

I sent my email as well, briefly describing my objections to all of the bills. ANJPRC makes this very easy to do, by supplying talking points and cut-and-paste email address lists. You can email all 120 or so members of the assembly and senate in a matter of minutes. I encourage everyone to do so, no matter how little effect it might have in this state. I received 10 automatic replies almost immediately upon sending my email; most said that due to the high volume of email received, I might not get a personal response for several days, but if I had emailed my position on pending legislation, my position had been noted. Assembly members Brian Bergen, Kevin Rooney, Mike Doherty, and Gerry Scharfenberger emailed back that they would be opposing the bills. None of the Senators have responded thus far. None of the authors or supporters of the bills bothered to respond. If past experience is any indication, I'll get a few more replies over the next week, but will hear nothing from most of those contacted.

Are you Nostradamus? Do you posses a time machine that you use to go into the future to hear verdicts before their issued? How are you so certain that SCOTUS won't make a broad ruling that effects the remaining 6 or 7 states that are still "may issue". Why can't you understand that NJ, CA etc cannot simply ignore SCOTUS rulings. Could NJ enact training requirements and fees to compensate? Sure! It will slow us down but, it won't stop us. Those who are determined like myself will go through any training and spare no expense for this.

The "Continuously" language is actually part of what Nappen used to get Brian Aitken's mag charge overturned.
  18. 1 point
The key word in the statute is "continuously." As you have to remove the mag, rotate it and then re-insert it, there is no way anyone of sound mind could think that this meets that requirement. I have always had my doubts about the statute anyway. How can anything be "continuously" fed into a semi-automatic? That would be a harder sell, and I don't have the funds to be a test case.

Bruen isn’t going to save NJ. Half a century of an anti-gun culture is not going to be turned on its head overnight. As usual, last minute warning from the ANJRPC over what’s cooking in Trenton. Leaves just enough time for a handful of the one million gun owners of New Jersey to flood the internet with negative memes of Gov. Murphy and his teeth. Until you have people who can be taken seriously from the pro-gun side, advocates who can sit at a collective bargaining table and reach agreements face to face; nothing will ever change. I haven’t heard one negative comment yet from Jack C. or Philip R. on this subject. Phil has been on a roll since he announced his candidacy in 2016.

I sent my e-mail opposing the five bills ANJPRC stated was scheduled to be heard tomorrow. I got an e-mail today for NJ2AS stating there were four additional bills scheduled for Wednesday as well. Nationally, the only way this turns out favorably for us is if the U.S Supreme Court states exactly what the requirements are to get a concealed carry permit. However I doubt that they would ever go into that level of detail.

So, today I drove all the way out to the range to try a new gun but forgot the magazines at home On the plus side, I felt like an absolute badass shooting 15+ rounds out of my rimfire lever action rifle without reloading.

@Smokin .50 Hi Rosie, My boys are well older than required and I don't have grandkids, I had a book listed on EBay that proceeds would have gone to you that didn't sell, in lieu of that I'll send a donation towards this event.
