POS. 4x scope on it was unnecessary. 30 round mag often jammed. Unreliable. Unsafe. Not welcome in the Gun Family. Lost in a tragic boating accident. It was an impulse buy at Rays.

I know a guy at CJRPC that is very close to doing this, he is mindless. I make for damn sure I never get on the line with him.

I never liked one I had, rattled like a loose bag of bolts. Garand is 100x the gun

What are safe guidelines for driving from Jersey, thru Delaware and to shoot sporting clays in Maryland? OK to keep everything locked in a steel truck bed box?
-
I'm looking at carcoverusa.com. I don't mind spending some money but they need to be durable and tight.

Need recommendations for a high quality seat cover for pickup bucket seats. I know Jennifer Aniston would be the best but how about second best?

There is less recoil on a 12 g that fits you than any 20g. O/U is the best gun for clays. Much safer than a semi. You need to show the gun is safe when you are around other people and no better way than a break open gun. There are clay courses that specify break open guns only. You would be fine with a 32" o/u and a set of chokes for skeet, trap or sporting clays. Each game requires a different pattern due to the distances and type of flight path. It is cheaper to get a good gun than 2 different ones.

Senator Menendez goes after 3D printed gun threat!
rifleman replied to JohnnyB's topic in Pending Legislation Discussion
I am an experienced mechanical engineer and machinist with a full precision shop. I also have a $3,000 3D printer. It is state of the art and works great. There is not a chance a 3D printer can make a useable firearm. I would not waste a minute trying it, being fully aware of 3D print capability. Even a POS harbor freight lathe mill would be 1,000x more efficient. You would have a better chance making award winning wine out of a bag of grass clippings. If there is a bad actor that could print a 3D firearm, he could get a job in today's economy and buy anything. And I mean anything. or 10 anythings hahahaha. I just laugh at the whole thing. I don't even care if it is legislated. -
Bolt Buffer Pin Replacement for Ruger 10/22
rifleman replied to TRM9999's topic in Rimfire Pistols & Rifles
I replaced mine with a #10 grade 8 socket head cap screw, the unthreaded section 30 years ago. -
Red Wing is a good course, very challenging. The machines are in very good condition and they keep them full. Great place to walk on a winter day.

One piece Wearguard suit from 1982, still fits sort of. Sure got my money out of it.

10" in Bricktucky. I already did the driveway, easier to finish later. Our business is based on trucks in & out so they closed (smart). UPS is the only thing on my road today so far. That's gotta be a fun truck in this weather. I am ready to deploy my army of snow beers for later.

I am going to make some bit coins on the 3D printer this week. Pleas contact me by PM if you would like to buy one for a bargain price of $13,000 US or 10 oz. 99.999 gold.

It was worth going to for the minor savings on ammo. Good part was availability, cash & carry no internet BS. Bought a bayonet for Mrs. so she can dig in the yard.

Fake tree. Crossed over to the dark (GREEN) side and never looked back. 10x easier and 1/10th the cost.

I taught Chuck Norris that move.

Nice, do you have one for a 1943 Garand from CMP? I can teach you how to open a bottle of champagne with one, very fun at family gatherings. I do it all the time- the kids are impressed.

Red Wing is great. Many shots are in the untrimmed bush- very challenging. Great people also. We will be there at least 3x this season

Rem oil often loses the aerosol charge. Pop 2 holes in with a nail- one to pour, one to let the air in. Use an old Windex spray bottle, works great. Cover the nail holes with a paper towel, there will be a little pressure. No problem.

When you get pulled over ?
rifleman replied to Foxhunter's topic in Current New Jersey Gun Laws Discussion
Believe it or not, I worked it out in English (Cabo San Lucas). Also had Ben Franklin in the back of my wallet in case things went wrong. I gave him an International Driver's license for "security" that I could buy back the next day- too bad for him it was a useless Internet thing that expired the next month. hahahaha -
When you get pulled over ?
rifleman replied to Foxhunter's topic in Current New Jersey Gun Laws Discussion
The best question I was ever asked (in Ohio) was Visa or Mastercard. I replied Visa and that was the end of the conversation. $65 later, I was on my way. Too bad they all didn't go so easy. Mexican cop said $15, I was OK with that. His buddy then said $50. Not OK. Worked it out for $14 but was careful the rest of the week. -

Recommend you clearly mark up the existing survey with dimensions and details. Show it to the town guy and see if he will accept it. I did this with the Army Corp of Engineers & NJ DEP for a dock and they were fine. I ain't no surveyor but have been pretending to be a engineer for years.

October is a good time of year. We had a 3 bedroom, 2 bath house on I street with parking pass for about $300 per night. Easy walk to the Metro and Georgetown. Saw Senator Bob Dole in a restaraunt, sat and spoke with him for a while. Of course I wore NRA hat during the day.
