Took the wife shooting for her first time today
JimmyAGR replied to jm1827's topic in Ranges & Gun Shops
Good job! Now try to get her to invite some of her girlfriends, we need more women in this fight! -
This statement is too funny. Can anyone even the sheeple out there believe lines like this? That would be one powerful weapon, able to take down a chemical plant. F'n idiots! Bryan Miller, executive director of Heeding God's Call, a faith-based organization focused on gun violence, called it the “most common-sensical bill in the entire package.” “One person with one of these guns and incendiary armor piercing bullets could knock down a chemical plant and kill hundreds of people. Chris Christie clearly is courageous for his place in the Republican Party, but not for the residents of New Jersey,” Miller said.

CO Anti-Gun Group complaining about background checks

Nice! Love it when their idiocy bites them in the ass. -
Haven't gone in a few years since the kids are all grown, but spent a week here every August for 20 years. Great place with lots for the kids to do. You can do tents or campers. http://otterlake.com/

Nice pick up. They are so much fun to shoot!

I have a laser bore sighter you can use, just take the upper off align the bore and scope on the red dot at the furthest distance you can. Then take the gun to the range and place the closest target you can, 50 yds. or so and a few shoots later you are set.

Wow where is all the outrage in the "MSM". If this was reversed we would have Sharpton and Jackson screaming all over the news.

Excellent! Glad she had a great time, a fantastic bonding experience.

So beautiful, and such a nice gun for your son to have one day.

Sorry for your loss. You will always find friends here on the forum.

That's great my wife went with me a couple of years ago for my birthday. She now lays claim to my Browning BDA and I bought her a 10/22. She still doesn't like shooting the AR's but we take it in baby steps.

I loved my Sportster. It was a lot of fun to ride, and nimble, not ricer nimble but easy to maneuver. I used it for commuting to NYC for 2 years. I think it a good first bike, but like Lunker said there are a ton of used ones out there that will save you some money. Do yourself a favor and take a beginners course. I have been riding for almost 40 years now in dirt and on the street and I still take an experienced riders course every few years just to see what bad habits I started having. Riders Edge has classes at Brookdale college. http://www.renj.com/ Good luck and be careful.

Sweet rifle. Now you just have to find a range that is long enough to do it justice.
