  1. No metal cases, no questionable ammo, no sparks, no problems. Easy for range to keep out. Nobody wants a range fire with unburned powder around
  2. Remington. http://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/2018/01/chris-heuss/new-from-remington-700-pcr-precision-chassis-rifle/ Street supposed to be under 1K Tanners in PA did have 62 Ruger RPRs in 6.5C up for sale recently $950. Don't know current status.
  3. Over 3000 bills posted between Assembly and Senate, not one for solving the RE TAX problem. Shows you what their concerns are!
  4. Locked in trunk, unloaded, OK. Going to range OutOfSstate. What state? NFB!

    Thrower Battery

Clean the terminals with baking soda solution. Prob acid oxidation build up. Common in winter. Don't get it on you. Or get a can of acid neutralizer.
  6. As a NRA RSO, all muzzles point to the backstop, and a chamber flag is inserted in the gun when on the rail, period. All ranges should require them. They never leave the rail unless cased, and only come out of the case on the rail pointed towards the backstop.
  7. Sweeney knows if he gives in to the leprechaun now it will be a blood bath when the next state elections come around. This has happen before in NJ and he's at the top of the Senate's food chain.
  8. Background on Zims and his methodology. http://www.bullseyepistol.com/zins.htm
  9. Bills referred to Law and Public Safety Committee. You can lookup their schedule on the NJ Legislative Website. Nothing scheduled yet.
  10. Grove Locksmith in Plainfield my help, worth a call. There are Auto Locksmiths around that seem to be able to do it.
  11. Free states that do not require NRA memberships at ranges probably have no insurance at all on the ranges. Big liability issue I would not want to be a trustee of that organization or a member. Clubs use NRA insurance because it is by far the cheapest providing you meet certain requirements, when all your members are NRA members and you have range rules in line with NSSA guildelines. Now for the biggest reason. NJ clubs use NRA membership because of NJ law. NJ clubs file their membership list with the NJSP as required by law , see NJ 2C;39-6f. This provides a broader exemption for members of clubs when going to or from a place of target practice. Example, one can go to a friends farm to target practice providing it legal to shoot on the farm. Otherwise you can only go to an approved range directly.
  12. Read you contract. Must be terms in there somewhere. Possibly by "trading" in for newer model. They always love the opportunity to sell you something new.
  13. While difficult to get, it can never be stopped. Only question would be does the expense of ownership justify it. Ah, I know forming an LLC is a new way apply for a Federal FFL. Don't know how NJ laws look at this. Could be worth investigating. Don't forget NJ will require local zoning board approval as well.
  14. Why not? As long as you can only access them, then no one else can be in possession of them. A little reading for you. https://law.stackexchange.com/questions/14613/owning-firearms-but-keeping-them-out-of-state
  15. Great story. I had a '68 fastback, navy blue, black interior, 289 V8, 3 on the floor. Wish I never got rid of it. But, like in the story, life gets in the way. I miss that car.
  16. And I have been in this game in NJ long enough to let you all know that all the "in your face public displays" was good theater, but when it was all said and done it was the behind closed door negotiating that counted. Still need the public display to prove it's not a hollow effort, but this is how Trenton works,
  17. You better hope so, he's your only hope left (pun). If a lot of people join now it sends a strong message...................

    SKO-12

Funny, I don't see the Beretta/Benelli/Stoeger group having any problems.
  19. Colorado insurance companies have the numbers and they and the policy premiums have gone up. Just like with all things state government, does not require any definitive reporting of the numbers in any pot related incident, so of course those numbers are off. Just like anything else. Do you really believe street level crime is down in NYC? It's up, but the reporting methods used in the past have been changed by the DeBlasio crowd, to reflect a net decrease. So back on topic, Colorado auto accidents are up but no reporting ways to separate if pot is the cause. Well, you can damn well believe it has been a factor. Also, no smoking tobacco in buildings laws, but no specific law on pot, so you end up smelling it everywhere. Now watch that other states have legalized it no more reason for trips to Denver, so we see what the revenue stream will look like. NJ f's everything up it touches, look at A/C, sun, sand, casinos, entertainment, and still the city is a s...hole. Yes, Booker a s...hole, in your own backyard, along with Camden, Newark, Paterson.
  20. Lake Harmony is nice. I have a cousin in Hemlock Farms, private, restricted access, very nice. HOA is high but a lot of upscale people there and things to do.
  21. Depends on where in the Poconos. ANYWHERE development had large tracks of homes geared to sell to NYers are trouble. East Stroudsburg, once a quiet little town is now a bastion of crime and displaced NYers. However if you get out of those areas it is very nice place. The west end (Chestnut Hill) is still nice, but stay aware from the north end of East Stroudsburg up the top of the mountain (Bushkill). Tannersville, Pocono Pines, Tobyhanna triangle full of weekend cabin developments struggling to survive. Doing your homework is a must.
  22. How 'bout anything east of Trenton falls into the Atlantic. He likes the shore so much. I hope Trump drills on every foot of NJ coastline.
  23. We already have vote early and often in this state, I guess trying to get to all those polling places on election day by public transportation is getting just a bit to much.
  24. You can guarantee it to happen. I know of another accountant that was disbarred. His records seized and the entire client list reviewed. You may never hear anything, but be aware they are going to review returns he signed off on.
  25. Yeah Phil, you want to make NJ the "CA of the east coast". No problem, will be #2 in poverty in no time. http://www.latimes.com/opinion/op-ed/la-oe-jackson-california-poverty-20180114-story.html
