NJ is a lost cause and not even worth arguing about. Flip one seat GOP and 4 go DEM. Some counties will remain red but the rest of the state is solidly blue and nothing will ever change that. The best hope is to elect pro 2A Dem's if you can find them but they are out there.

I went to the Split Rock show last weekend and it was not worth it. I was looking for a Mosin 91/30 and there was not one there. In addition the show was billed as 700 tables but there were 500 tops. At least I got some good beef jerky.

Rockaway Recycling is currently offering $.80 per lb if they are not usable for the charities mentioned above.

This is so sad for the people at RTSP who had to witness the desperate act. I feel bad for the young man who felt so lost that this was the only solution to his problems. I feel bad for his family and friends who will be asking themselves "why didn't I see this coming." I'm relieved that no one else was physically hurt by this tragedy. There is really nothing that anyone at RTSP could have done to prevent this type of incident. My thoughts are with the staff of RTSP in this difficult time.

Another point I want to make is both my wife and I have FPID's We have both purchased firearms. We consider them our firearms regardless of who filled out the paperwork. One shouldn't need to get paperwork for property that is already owned. I'm not trying to belittle anyone here just making a point.

The problem that I see here is the gun cost $50k but you can only find a buyer to give $5K What is the other party entitled to? $25K or $2.5K?

Married couples have something that is called "community property". This usually comes up in a divorce but the gist is that both individuals are entitled to each others property unless spelled out in a prenuptial agreement. I would love to see this come up in a court of law. One individual owns a $50 K Cabot custom but the other individual has no claim because they did not get a permit for it. Divorce lawyers would freak out.

I've always felt that your income tax refund should be tied to your voting. Don't vote no refund. It might get the wrong people to the poles but at least it will get people to the poles.

Sorry to hear about your loss. My dad passed the day before Thanksgiving in 1999. It's now a day to celebrate his memory and enjoy time with family. I hope it becomes the same for you and your family.

My comments were in no way an attempt to denigrate any of the fine work you are doing and as others have said is just constructive criticism. It is in all of our interests to get this message out to as many people as possible in a way that will make people listen who may not be as passionate as us about this issue. I have spoken in front of hundreds of people many times and appeared in numerous stage productions as well as spent years performing in local bands. I have been told by numerous people that I have a very good speaking and singing voice and truth be told I am never happy with the way I sound on playback so I totally understand your reticence to use your own voice. If you make another video I offer to do the voice over for it. I am certain it will meet your standards

Let me start by thanking you for fighting the good fight. I found the video very informative and easy to understand. That being said if I were not interested in 2nd Amendment rights there is no way I could have finished watching or should I say listening to the narration. The monotone delivery is a real turn off. My wife came into the room to see what was on because she could not believe how bad it was. Because of the poor quality of the voice over I don't think the casual viewer would spend 5 minutes listening to it. I'm not sure if it can be edited at this point without changing the URL but having narration by a person with a little emotion in their voice would go a long way to make the video a better viewing experience.

I too recommend the Ruger. I put fiber optic sites and the BX drop in trigger with modified bolt release in mine and it is my favorite plinking rifle. I tried a scope on it but didn't like it but I have the take down model so that may be why.

Glad you enjoyed it so much. I have sadly missed the last 2 matches due to my bad back. My advice for you is to just go slow the first few times you compete. Don't worry about your time just be safe and speed will improve the more you compete.
