  1. Federal ban went into effect in 1994. NJ's "evil features" list was not included in the 1990 AWB law (under 2C:), which is why you only find it in the Administrative Code (Title 13). When the "substantially identical" portion of the 1990 AWB was ruled unconstitutionally vague (1996 or so), the judge ordered the AG at the time to define what "substantially identical" means, he plagiarized the federal definition giving us our current "evil features" list. So, I'm not sure who dreamed up the "evil features" list, but I know California was the first state to ban "assault weapons" after the Stockton shooting (guy shot up a daycare center with an AK type rifle), so it may have come from there.
  2. Next someone is going say they use a different name for sprinkles............
  3. She is a frequent guest on NJTV defending Republicans and their policies - although I think I'm the only one who watches that channel.......
  4. I'll keep that in mind if I have them import anything else. I think it's a husband and wife team, probably working out of their house - at least that was the impression I got. Maybe they opened some sort of shop since I last dealt with them? I think they also do gun shows in Maryland.
  5. I've dealt with them before, did they tell you you could come pick them up? I wanted to do so and they told me they didn't do in person pick ups. That said, their packaging was not a problem from what I recall - I think they may be German Americans, LOL
  6. I have a black 9mm Gen 2 that takes S&W M&P mags and a Tan 9mm Gen 2 that takes Beretta 92 mags in stock. The Glock versions don't last long when I get them in stock.
  7. WECOME!!!!!! You shouldn't need to be fingerprinted again, but I have heard of some towns making people do it repeatedly. You cannot buy more than one handgun in any 30 day period - so when you get a permit you can use it right away, but must wait at least 30 days after your first purchase to use a second permit.
  8. I have them in 12 gauge, 20 gauge and Remington Tac 14 in stock
  9. Yes, but be ready for the troopers at the station to give you a hard time. I've heard numerous reports of troopers telling out of state residents (primarily New Yorkers) that it isn't possible - and were belligerently adamant so. Expect to need to contact the NJSP FIU in Trenton to get them to do their job.
  10. I need northern Passaic County to be included in that (it was originally supposed to be a separate county but South Jersey objected to it when the counties were being created - so we're stuck with Paterson) so my business isn't trapped in NJ
  11. Better idea - all of upstate NY splits off Westchester county, NYC and Long Island and forms a new state. Northwest Jersey joins this new state with upstate NY. It would be better than joining PA
  12. They were determined to be illegal adjustable stocks in 2011 by NJSP FIU or by/in conjunction with the AG
  13. FPID is not required for a handgun purchase, but normally ask for it as well.
  14. I ended up calling Viking only because I need to get someone in there quickly and no one responded right away. This was a situation where a tenant was complaining, otherwise I would have done traps with peanut butter myself as I always have done. They ended up charging me around $300, which I thought was high, and they only offered an all inclusive service for anything that might be trying to invade the house instead of just getting rid of the mice that were the issue. They also were trying to sell me a monthly service plan which I was not going to buy. In the end it does seem like they took care of the problem though...... I'll give him a try next time I need and exterminator. Thanks
