December 12, 2006 10:40am to 4:04pm I made 39 passes down the Atco drag strip during an invite only test-n-tune session.

It was actually a warm day then as well.

In total I made more passes at Atco that one day than I did total at all my visits to Englishtown.

atco is where i raced everything from my grandmoms inline6 maverick or my grandpops 289 mustang to my 12 second gt to the shop's 9 second camaro.....and others in between. i only ever raced at englishtown twice. the starting line prep was significantly better than atco.....other than that, i preferred atco.

yea, stelantis is discontinuing production of the hemi either this year or next. i think ford will be the last one producing a v8 in the stang.

Really sucks to hear this this. With the demise of englishtown and now this, Island Dragway in Great Meadows is the only strip left in jersey.
