Dick's has a 20% sale going on

Just came back from Dick's. Picked up 5 boxes of clays at $5.98 / 90. They also have shotshell for under $6.00 plus a mail-in rebate. Shotguns are also on sale. Ones I saw were benelli's (semi and O/U). Also Eyeing a honking big safe from Stack-On for $1050.00.

 

Not sure how ling the sale is on.

I went straight to the hunting / fishing area and noticed shotguns, shotsshells, clays, safes, and other hunting goodies. On select items, not storewide - sorry not much more details than that, was in and out.

That's a nice cabinet Richie, but stack-on does sell a "convertible" cabinet, where you can take the shelves out and put another 16 guns on that side.

Me: ehh its only 50 bucks, thats like two trips to the ridge, means nothing to you

note to everyone, do not go to a dicks at an hour before closing on a saturday night. Apparently they start changing all of the signs before they close, and the people working there have no idea what sales are current and what sales are for tomorrow. What a waste of my time. I wanted to get some more shotgun shells, epic fail, I wanted to get a blind, the one they had didn't even come with a seat, another epic fail, and the 16ft tree stand was marked one thing in the paper and another thing at the store another epic fail.

 

But i did walk away with a nicely insulated thick coveralls for hunting SCORE!

at least it wasnt a total loss. =) Though the plus side you do see the Sunday sales a day early. can probly have them price match it too

Supposedly tomorrow starts the sale of the remington shotshells, buy a case get a dollar off each box if anyone is interested

That sale is a pretty regular one. Not a bad deal if you shoot a lot of bird shot.
