coldsolderjoint 84 Posted January 3, 2010 I have mine laminated.. ive seen about a million other's that are. I don't know for sure.. but I don't think there is any law that prevents you from doing it.
djg0770 481 Posted January 3, 2010 yes you can (and imo should) laminate Action in Haledon will do it for you.

Melgamatic 66 Posted January 3, 2010 I laminated mine after every store employee told me to do so. Took it to a local teacher's supply store, and the guy who did the laminating told me he did them all the time. So, who knows if it is legal, but nearly everyone does it.... Malsua 1,422 Posted January 3, 2010 I laminated mine. I would certainly suggest it.

I was there and asked about laminating an FID card (new customer at the time) and he's like "I can do that for you..." Despite being a little crusty, he's a good guy. Caine 147 Posted January 3, 2010 lol good point. I assumed he worked there cuz he picks up the phones and goes behind the counter and stuff, but I don't think I've ever seen him do any of the paperwork
jermz1987 243 Posted January 3, 2010 Hmmm, I wonder is Staples will do it. I have been wanting to get mine done. I was gonna keep it in my wallet, Then I realized that if I loose my wallet the person who picks it up will know where to find some guns and ammo. I have been keep it in one of the deer hunting patches. They fit great.
njpilot 671 Posted January 3, 2010 Don't know why Staples wouldn't, but The UPS Store did mine.

jermz1987 243 Posted January 12, 2010 Just got mine done at STAPLES today. It took about 3 minutes to do. Well worth the $1.39 to get it done.

maideneddie 35 Posted February 12, 2010 The Chief at my local PD recommended that I get mine laminated since it takes so long to get.
Chad 3 Posted February 12, 2010 viewtopic.php?f=9&t=1371 I got mine laminated at staples several years ago, the girl did me a favor and cut it out for me. Needless to say, I had to apply for a duplicate after she cut 1/4 of the card off. Right across the middle of the number. Someone failed cut & paste in kindergarden.
DonkeyPunch 9 Posted October 26, 2010 For those of you that got yours laminated at a Kinkos, Staples, UPS store, etc. did the lamination add to the length and width to the card? If so, do any of you know of any places that can laminate without doing so?
Krdshrk 3,877 Posted October 26, 2010 It did add length/width. I debated trimming it down but I decided I'd just leave it first.
