for those that don't have a garand

Recommended Posts

what are you waitin' for!

first time shooting mine today. what a gun!

if you are not qualified to buy from cmp, I suggest you do it soon!

garands just shoot amazing. the trigger is nice, they are balanced and even make a crappy shooter like me look good

48 shots and 46 in the the kill zone. 50 yard, first time out

Take a few steps back and use that puppy to it's potential. Enjoy.

Gen. George Patton thought it was a fine weapon. Guess he was right!!

its not like picking up a mosin for $180.

I was going to say you could pick up about 6-8 Mosins for the price of a Garand....but $180 for a Mosin??? Thats expensive. I picked up mine for $120 including NICS and tax, and mine is in pretty good condition. I would definitely love to pick up a Garand one day though...

usnmars has...see his thread in the general firearms discussion forum

CMP has a great selection of M1s right now, and cr*ploads of ammo--FOR NOW! Eventually this will end and those rifles will be out on the market, costing a lot more. When the CMP ran out of ammo in 09, cans on GB went thru the roof! I am very tempted to get an HRA SG, but am short of time and cash for that kinda stuff now. I can sneak in ammo, but another rifle will cost me dearly in the near term :icon_mrgreen:
