Opening links on NJGF..

When ever i open a link on NJGF the link opens but the forum page also opens to the link and i end up having to back search to go back to the njgf forum ?

 

I do not have this problem on other forums only NJGF.

A new window or tab should open if it is a non-NJGF link. Your original page should remain active/present.

The non njgf link will change the current window, as well as open a new window.

What browsers are you guys using?

ETA: I'm using the latest iteration of Firefox with no issues.

Can you provide a specific post that is doing it? So far I find no issues using Firefox or IE8.

Now that you mention it, comcast changed to xfinity which uses ie9. think this happened around the same time.

 

weard thind is though only while browsing NJGF.. other forums do not have the same problem.

I am using IE8 and this only happens on NJ gun forums. Never happens on other forums. If I click on a link it opnes the page, but then my main page changes to the link as well.

Happens with me, too. IE9, Win 7. In a video get a double echo in voice also. There will be two tabs at the right of the address bar with an "X" on them. X the one at the far right and it's OK then.

It's an ie8/ie9 issue (although I didn't have the issue until upgrading to ie9).

 

Run this site (and any other sites that have the same problem) in Compatability Mode and it should work properly. You can click the Compatability View icon in the upper right hand corner when you visit the site (it will turn blue), or you can permanently add the site to the Compatability View list in Tools-->Compatability View Settings.

Why are people still using IE? I stopped using it at like IE7 is was horrible!
