Cast receiver SW5 carbine. Runs well even with non factory mags.

- Fastfire red dot sighted slightly high at 50yds

- Lightened sear spring

- Permanently altered 15/30 non factory mag

- "Solid" fake can

- Streamlight TL-1S

- Mako railed forearm with Magpul rail covers

You can actually hear the clicking (over the blast) as the action cycles open and closed. SD owners say that that clicking is the only thing you hear if you fire that version of the firearm.

One point two. The gun itself runs like a train, but because I have non factory mags, some are better than others despite being of all the same maker.

Awesome!!! How much did this run you(before the tacticool goodies) and have you had any failures with it? I would love one of these.

About $1.20? :sarcastichand:

Seriously though, these seem go go from about a thousand dollars to about fourteen hundred used. Until a couple of months ago, Special Weapons had a few left that they were selling on GB. It seemed that they were assembling guns from their final stock of parts and those would be the last guns from them. After that they were going to be a parts company only.

how much is that US?

SW = Coharie = Whatever the company is called now = it might work and maybe it will not

You just have to take a chance.

You got lucky. Enjoy.

So far...Google "Todd Bailey" and Special Weapons" Caveat Emptor...

Awesome dude!

I used to love the MP5... it's such a slick little weapon. And was always widely represented in my favorite action films (Die Hard). Tis a shame we can't get them with their normal length barrels. Even in semi-auto, I would imagine they are fun.
