Shawnmoore81 623 Posted June 8, 2012 Yeah I use to go all the time. I stopped going a few years ago because of the crowd
Ray Ray 3,566 Posted June 8, 2012 Yea enjoy that. FREE means all the areas trash will be there which means fights or worse. Have you ever been to the xtu anniversary concert? It's Kenny Chesney, he could walk down the street right now and who would know who he is. So go and have fun, although the music would definitely suck. H.M. Murdock 0 Posted June 8, 2012 Ah, the ugly side of the gun culture.. The embarrassing association that forces you to hide your love for guns from your friends and co-workers. Country Music
Shawnmoore81 623 Posted June 8, 2012 Nobody would know who he is? The guy is a hit machine that sells out concerts all around the world. Just because you aren't a fan doesn't mean other people aren't. I've gone to 3 of his shows and always had a great time. It's a really good laid back crowd. Shawnmoore81 623 Posted June 8, 2012 First concert I had nose bleed seats, 2nd I sat right up front, 3rd I used my eagles ticket agent to sit VIP seating.
johnp 45 Posted June 8, 2012 In my experience, those that say they hate country music, have never really listened to it.

Shawnmoore81 623 Posted June 8, 2012 I liked that outlaw country station on there but I don't know if it's still around. I usually have my iPhone playing in my car.

Shawnmoore81 623 Posted June 8, 2012 Those hands were the people in the sand bar. That's the 10' space between the stage and the first seats. I was in the first seat. And yes I did have a great time. Just as I did at all his shows, Xtu shows and Toby kieth. Country concerts have a great crowd and anybody that goes to one is converted.
RedBowTies88 41 Posted June 8, 2012 I live 5 minutes from wildwood and have all my life. I have one thing to say. F**I* That place. Bring some protection if you come. I'm sure the "locals" will use the crowd to their advantage
Shawnmoore81 623 Posted June 20, 2012 This show has I very small crowd. Gonna be great.

MedicYeti 96 Posted June 20, 2012 For those of you who are coming down today; advise from a local Paramedic. Some of the parking lots are charging $50+ for parking. There is free parking on the streets of Wildwood, but the free parking is blocks from the beach. My advise, bring bicycles, park away from the beach and ride to the concert. Use a GOOD bike lock. As the time nears exit 4 of the GSP (Wildwood exit) is going to be swamped. I'll give you some alternative routes. Exit 6 of the GSP brings you into North Wildwood, onto New Jersey Ave. Follow NJ till you get parking. If you have a bike try parking north of Rio Grande Bvd, somewhere near the Wildwood Municipal building (PD and FD). This will give you ride of about 8 blocks. RedBowTies88 41 Posted June 20, 2012 Also, just to add... be sure you lock the FRAME of the bike. I always see locked up wheels or even seats in wildwood. Most people don't realize but WW is a pretty bad town depending on where you are. If I were coming into town and was worried about traffic I would both come in and leave via ocean drive at exit 0. Very few people will be taking that route i suspect. It's worth the $1.50 toll on the way out to avoid New jersey and rio grande ave's...
MedicYeti 96 Posted June 20, 2012 Your heading south on the GSP and start encountering heavy traffic between mile 12 and 9, it ain't gonna get better as you approach 6 and 4. Turn left at either mile 10 or 9 (both are traffic lights). After the left, take your first right. This road becomes Golf Club Road and runs parallel to the GSP. It is a residential road and often has speed traps but it still tends to flow quicker the the GSP in heavy traffic. Golf Club Road will end on North Wildwood BVD, turn left and go in through North Wildwood.
RedBowTies88 41 Posted June 20, 2012 Do take it easy there though my grandmother lives on that road If you're really adventureous you can go through stoner harbor on ocean drive then onto north wildwood BLVD.. That wont save you any time but it is more interesting lol
Shawnmoore81 623 Posted June 20, 2012 I sold 2 of my tickets just to pay for parking. But hey they were free so I don't care. I'm also staying on a houseboat for free so I'm good
Shawnmoore81 623 Posted June 20, 2012 Just parked 10' from the boardwalk 1 block away from the concert for $
Yotafan 1 Posted June 21, 2012 Watching the concert on my 52" in my living room with the AC on. We have tickets to see him at Met Life with Tim Mcgraw. We saw Kenny last year with ZBB which was a good show.
Scott204 1 Posted June 21, 2012 I would rather put dull spoons in my ears then listen to country music. Its so bad that they have to offer free concerts in NJ for people to show because no one in their right mind would actually pay to listen to that crap. LOL Just having fun with you guys. But Country does suck.
silverado427 10,822 Posted June 21, 2012 I just don't have any use for country, But thats just me
