I think of them as the Harbor Freight of reloading.

This is right on target. My brass separator spinning ball thing is FA, and it's "OK." I look at nicer ones and see how they are better, but probably not better enough to justify the purchase. I suspect fit and finish is a little nicer on other brands, but I can live with it.

Tumblers and the soon to be re-released Vibra Prime are pretty good from FA.

The Vibra Prime was extremely popular with reloaders but for whatever reason, it was no longer being made.

They sold for around $27.00 and people have been getting 3x the original cost as of late.

They got discontinued because they didn't sell well enough. When they started shipping more shortly before they nixed them, it was time for new molds and tooling, and they didn't think the market was there at increased prices.

Since I've seen them go for $125 and more, I think the proof is there for supporting higher prices. Either that or a factory in china needed something to keep them from going idle.

I actually called FA a couple of years ago asking why they ceased production and the answer they gave was something along the lines of did not sell well and coming out with a newer model.

I am fortunate to have 2 VP but, I would love to have a Dillon primer filler.
