put it on facebook, we found a collie few weeks back put it on facebook and in 10 minutes the owner claimed the dog.. make sure you put the street you found it on..

if you do put AD don't put the name of the dog in ad's just a pic and then ask them to name the dog so you know its the real owner.

call the PD ,, I also found a dog today and had the wife call them and the people picked her up in a couple hours after the call

it happens all the time I run into it at least once a month. I even had someone "rescue" a dog off off the dog owners property because the dog was running free and there was no fence. There was an underground fence and the dog was contained LOL

Just goes to show...if you're going to put your dogs name on the collar, put your phone number on the other side of the tag!

 

My dog is Mr Id.

 

Tag with his name and my phone numbers

My town rabies vac ID number which they can look up

My town dog license which can be looked up

Home Again Tag with phone number and ID

Microchip under his skin.
