Anderson Cooper and Cathy Lanier, two fine upstanding "liberal" citizens. FAIL! Not wasting my time.  :nono:

Not even for the "entertainment value?"  :D

Seriously, I honestly want to know how she expects for us to defend ourselves "when 911 isn't enough...."

"Your options are run, hide, or fight," says Lanier. "If you're in a position to try and take the gunman down, to take the gunman out, it's the best option for saving lives before police can get there," she tells Cooper.

"With all due respect Chief Lanier," responds Cooper, "how do you expect them to fight back when you've dis-armed all the citizens. Wouldn't it make sense to allow for ccw in these dangerous times?"

ok,I made that last part up.

Chief Lanier Answer:  There is not enough police force and too many gun deaths to attend all 911 calls in time. So solution is to setup "reasonable" restrictions on 2A and more taxes to fund additional police force.  If it doesnt work, keep doing the same thing over and over again.

Well, that certainly lived up to our "disappointment!" Had to love that skating job Lanier did around her "Run, Hide, Fight" comment. Not one word about "how to do any of it!" Especially fight!

And, of course, Anderson Cooper, true to form, didn't call her on the option of private citizens being armed and defenders in these cases.  It's funny... it's almost like they all wanted to say "citizens arm yourselves," but the ANTI powers that be held them back from saying it... :nono:

Ah well.
