Shops in NJ that have Old Military rifles?

Does anyone know of a shop here in good ole' NJ that handles old military rifles?

 

What I am looking for is  Springfield M1903, preferably an M1903A3 but if its in good shape has a higher serial number. The only ones I have seen are at the gun show I went to in PA but I'm concerned about condition if I buy something like that on gunbroker

 

Any suggestions or advice?

If you are interested, they have serious collectors and enthusiasts. Not just high end stuff, they do a lot of wheeling and dealing but they are trustworthy guys. Some are in Jersey.

I understand wanting to see a rifle and touching it before buying it. Especially a mil-surp.

Reach out to your local shops and see if they have one. There is a shop in Rio Grande with a Model 1917 Enfield.....

Not sure where you're at in the state, but I would recommend Sarco as well, plus Heritage Guild (which is right next door to Sarco) has a decent selection now as well.

+1 for Joe at Mastodon .I was at mastodon the other day,  he had a few surplus rifles, 1917 or 1903a3 (not sure which, only saw bottom)  through sks.  give Joe a call at 973-764-9550 to check on what he has.  Shop is near Cherry ridge range in highland lakes, NJ.

I know this is kind of old thread. Bob Little Sports Shop in Glassboro has some from milsurp stuff, Butches in Vineland usually has 6-10 milsurps hanging around. I dont know of any shops that buy up milsurp. But, they all will take on trade or consignment.

Tanners in PA has best selection. They also sell on gunbroker, but go in person. Their gunbroker listings are a little shady at times. For instance they were selling a 1935 Brazilian Mauser as an Embassy Rifle. In reality it was a 1935 barreled action with 1908 and 1912 parts.

Butches' in Vineland (already mentioned) always has a few trade ins.  If you ask, they often have some older stuff in the back too.  I've bought a few project guns there for $50 - $100.
