Reichenbach German Beer Hall in NYC

GIGANTIC soft pretzels served on pizza plates, large platters of sausages and German beer. A few blocks from Penn Station. Highly recommend it if you're in city and looking for a place to have beer and some bar grub. Their wings were pretty decent as well.

I was just there last Thursday.  I always get the wings and definitely share the pretzels with friends.  Great selection of beers.  They have Das Boot - the beer boot.

Another good place is the Zeppelin Hall in Jersey City, One block from the Hudson-Bergen light rail stop (Jersey Ave) or four blocks from the Grove St. PATH station.

Killmeyers is good. I like a place by my hometown in SI. Nurnberger Bierhaus on Forest Ave. We should do a bierhaus NJGF meet up

I've been also meaning to try Jockey Hollow's beer hall in Morristown - heard its pretty nice - +1 for Zeppelin Hall, great time if you take the train to get silly.

Great place plus all day happy hour on Thursdays.

Jockey Hollow Bar & Kitchen is better for cocktails IMHO. I love their Oyster Bar.

I vote Zeppelin Hall for a meetup. Close enough to NYC but on our side of the River. 

 

Thursdays they used to have free bacon.  Used to work around the corner until 6 months ago.

Hoboken has the nice beer garden on 14th street. Avoid the NYC crap. Pilsener Haus.

But you don't have to pay obnoxious tolls. I do like the biergarten in Hoboken however. Non crappy.
