fishnut 2,358 Posted September 7, 2016 side question, does anyone know if its legal to mount a 1919 in a vehicle? Such as a custom mount in the back of my jeep. Ultimate truck gun! well maybe not the most practical but definitely the coolest
fishnut 2,358 Posted September 7, 2016 Talk to me later this month or October. Also, maybe we can have a "combo" trip (regarding previous PM conversation). Ok sounds good. Its only like 15 mins from EFGA so that would be perfect.

Ultimate truck gun! well maybe not the most practical but definitely the coolest Sure is legal! ...as long as when mounted on the vehicle the vehicle is on property that you own or posses, or within the place of business of which you are an owner, or at a range. In between those places it must be de-mounted and inside a closed and fastened case, or in the trunk.
Lambo2936 297 Posted September 7, 2016 Damn, i have to go buy a jeep now. Or take the cap off my F150.
DeerSlayer 241 Posted September 9, 2016 Now I need one too with a jeep mount. I'll drive around with it mounted and unloaded. Fpid card allows possession outside the exemptions.
PK90 3,573 Posted September 9, 2016 Make up a belt of 100 dummy rounds hanging from the breech. Also, you'll need a clear "securely tied" cover for it so people can see what it is and still be within the law.

Although I wouldn't do it myself, isn't it perfectly legal within NJ if you're in possession of a Firearms Purchaser Identification card?

Also, possession of the FPID is not needed. Only that you have had acquired one previously.

Stock, bipod, carry handle, flash suppressor. You would need to change the spade grips back to the original pistol grip to attach the stock. S

S Except for the flash suprressor, I've got the rest - bipod, "pistol" grip and stock. Not sure if I'm ever going to configure it that way, but I've got them.
