voyager9 3,439 Posted January 3, 2017 I'd bet wild card keeps ratings up towards end of the season. More fans think their team has a shot, even after some divisions are locked up. You're right. If it weren't for the wildcard you'd never see the Dolphins, Jets, or Bills in the playoffs. Oh, wait.. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Shawnmoore81 623 Posted January 3, 2017 I like the wildcard. Imagine being in the patriots division if it didn't exist Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Imagine being in the patriots division if it didn't exist Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 16 teams mean every team plays the same teams for 15 games, if they schedule it that way. Sounds fair no matter which division you're in. But of course, why have divisions. LOL Sent from an undisclosed location
AS350Driver 56 Posted January 3, 2017 Why not play an 18 game schedule, eliminate the wildcard and the playoff bye week.
mipafox 438 Posted January 3, 2017 You'll just get more injuries IMO. They are already pushing it to the limit.
Newtonian 453 Posted January 3, 2017 Wild card probably doubles interest in football. Even at my lowest interest in the NFL since forever I'm suddenly interested in teams I'd never watch. Hey you CC types west of me how did the Eagles do this season?
voyager9 3,439 Posted January 3, 2017 Why not play an 18 game schedule, eliminate the wildcard and the playoff bye week. The NFL has been pushing for an 18+ game schedule for a while. It's always been rejected by the NFLPA. The talk was to do away with the preseason games. They'd never reduce the number of games in the playoffs. Those games are $$$$. Shawnmoore81 623 Posted January 3, 2017 Please get rid of preseason. Those tickets cost the same are the regular season and screw the season ticket holders Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

carl_g 568 Posted January 4, 2017 Hey you CC types west of me how did the Eagles do this season? I can't speak for the Eagles but the Steelers won their division again and also kicked the Giants ass in the process so..... E.S!

Those tickets cost the same are the regular season and screw the season ticket holders Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Giants cut preseason by 50% this past year. Forcing them to be purchased is a joke in the first place. I agree have two preseason games then you can expand the regular season if that's necessary.

Shawnmoore81 623 Posted January 4, 2017 Yes. I pay $800 every season for preseason games. Makes me sick Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
