Its ok.  Hes in liberal training mode.  There’s still a chance to stop it.     No seriously though.  Im a  purist when it comes to things like this.  Its like. Where do you draw the line.  If you have to ask yourself that.  Then be a purist. Some things like our US flag.  Should not be screwed with as far as debating     There is our flag.  The red white and blue.  The one that my brothers died for overseas so that we still speak American english.  The one flag that our parents grandparents neighbors et al suffered for.  Lets just leave it alone.   Respect it for what it stands for as it is.

Uggg. One of the principal problems with society is that everyone demands recognition for doing anything, even their job. It's participation trophy.

Again, cops and firefighters are great. They work hard a little bit of the time, do little most of the time, get a decent salary and great benefits and pensions. Now they need a flag, too?

Can I get a flag for being in the maintenance field?  Plenty of us die each year from falls, electrocution, head trama, stress, cancer and long term injuries.

All dogs are liberals.  They depend on others for everything, will hump anything, including a leg, and if allowed to run wild in packs, will attack just for fun.

Erm...  I don't think growing christmas trees and flowers is actually all that dangerous.  I guess if you whack your foot with a spade when you B&B a shrub, that could hurt a little.

That's a good point, and along that thinking, I got this email a little while ago from Camping World. It's a petition they want people to sign. What do you think?

Let Camping World & Gander Outdoors Fly The American Flag!

The City of Statesville has filed a lawsuit seeking an injunction to require Gander RV in Statesville, NC to take down their American Flag. They are imposing a $50/day fine retroactive to 10/15/18.

Many cities like Statesville have requested that Camping World and Gander Outdoors take down their American Flags. WE WON'T DO IT! Stand with us.

This is about more than just the flag. This is about our Veterans, Military, and the men and women that have sacrificed for this great country. They are the reason we fly the flag and they are the reason we will NOT take it down!

Cancers from the chemicals.

My boss used to mock me for using a respirator whenever I spray.  He has cancer, I don't (at least not yet) have cancer.  He now uses a respirator and no longer mocks me.

True, Labs are great hunters. The breeder where I got him (and my other two previous Labs) raised both family Labs and Bird dogs. To see the difference in the temperament was amazing. The family Labs were friendly and playful, the bird dogs were absolutely crazy, jumping 6 feet straight up in their cages and totally bonkers.

I'm not interested in hunting, so we're not training for that. He's on a triple track training program, he finished Therapy Dog training, we're working on Search and Rescue now, and trying to lock in a trainer for Personal Protection. The first two he's done well with so far, the last one will take some time. It's tough to get him to look and act "mean" when he's so damn friendly, and wants to kiss people to death... Personal Protection is going to take some time, it appears...

That didn't pass the sniff test so I looked it up. They hit a permit for a 40x25 flag and they are displaying a 40x80 flag. They aren't being told to not fly a flag they are being told to comply with the ordinance and the permit and fly a 40x25 flag.

The fact their petition is deceptive makes me think the council aren't the only assholes in town.

This link shows you how to pair wines with exotic meats.

You know we can Tweet Obama and ask him what drink they paired with dog when he ate it.

Ha...  I was going to reference that location originally, when wondering about recipes, but I didn't want to come off as a racist. :scratchhead:

The fact you thought of it then did not post it because it was racist makes your thoughts racist.  :)

    • I like my regular carry holster.  OWB leather with belt slots.  I've been carrying for over a year and it was comfortable and I hardly even noticed it.  I carry (usually) a Ruger LCP .380 - light, convenient, tiny. But...today I ended up taking it off an leaving it home after a few hours. I cut down a big maple tree a few days ago and I spent 3/4 of today loading and unloading firewood into the back of my truck and a trailer.  It was a warm day, I was dirty, tired, sweaty, and my holster was rubbing against my side.  The leather and exposed metal snap was no longer comfortable. I'm thinking about adding a layer of something to that part of the holster to soften the contact.  Anything insulating will make it worse.  I don't want a sweaty, hotter holster against my skin.  I'm imagining something thin, breathable, that won't absorb sweat, and softer than leather, metal snaps, and rivets.   But I have no idea what would work. I'm hoping somebody else has already figured this out and I can just do what they did. Any suggestions appreciated.
