Funny you mention that. When I was 13 I was out in my deer stand one morning and it was just about legal shooting light but it was misty.  I heard footsteps slowly coming closer and closer, my Adrenaline was blasting off, I had my slug gun shouldered and ready when all of the sudden a cow comes into view. Guess the neighbors fence had a hole in it again.........the ribeyes that night for dinner were great. Lol j/k I did not shoot anything that day.

One of my neighbors out in west Texas used to raise ostriches. 
I was in a deer blind pretty early...and one of those damn things came out from behind a group of cedars. That was the last thing I had expected....I nearly made ostrich burgers that night! 
 

Called the neighbor, he came and picked it up, and fixed the fence.
