  1. A few nice used O/U on Griffen & Howe website.
  2. Clay Delay is the way to go. Along w/ Bry@n's name for free shipping, tell Clay Delay you shoot @ CJRPC and he will sell you the correct plug. Wired seems like a pain- dragging the cord but I have seen the metal fence affect the wireless models. Get a twist lock plug from Lowes to disconnect the long wire from your transmitter. The sockets at CJ are wired strange- bring the unit there to make the final hookup. I think it is the flag terminal and the center post- not the two outer terminals.

I slept on the decision and woke with great clarity of mind. Bought something else and saved $600 + did not have to lie to my wife HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Does anybody have a comment or caution? I have seen tons of bad reviews. I may buy one that has been reworked by Kimber. It is a great looking and feeling small piece.
  5. Generac rules! Installed it & transfer switch myself. It wasn't happy running 7kw of a long run barbeque stub so I upgraded to a pro installed 1" line. She runs self test every Sunday and we smile.
  6. There are two hidden areas behind shelves in a house in Keyport. I built them for guns when I renovated.
  7. Since I have to travel for work, I feel it is my civic responsibility to teach others American customs. Last week, I introduced flipping the bird to India as a friendly greeting to other motorists. My Indian driver was very appreciative. I hope it catches on.
  8. I shoot 1" thick 1018 (mild steel) w/30.06 and it craters ~ 1/4 deep. Grind the edges and repaint periodically.
  9. Bruce Maxwell [email protected] Excellent instructor, he talks about the trap only, not himself. 1. Whatever you spend on lessons, you will save on ammo practicing the same wrong move over & over. 2. ALL good shooters still take lessons.
  10. Has anybody shot trap here? I will be in the area and want to kill some time (and clays)
  11. I spent about 5K for a 7Kw NG Generac + auto transfer switch + 60' of new gas line. I bought the little Genny because it was the largest one that would run off my barbeque stub during the storm. I thought we would be out for a month. She runs every Sunday morning for 15 minutes and it is a happy sound.
  12. Brick warns it will be 5 months when you apply.
  13. fill the hollow stock with a bag full of lead shot. It helps a lot. Winchester sells low-recoil, low-noise loads. They are like shooting a .22
  14. I shot a BB into a can and it bounced straight back. I distinctly saw it coming straight to my eye, getting larger & larger. I shut my eyelid just in time to feel the BB on the skin.
  15. Yes, Red Wings is a good course and fun. The price is right and very easy to reach from central Jersey.
  16. Assembled in the safe. Case for travel only.
  17. True Story: I read a thread like this on another forum and 100% of the people involved say it's the worst thing you can do. Avoid at all costs.
  18. Don't tell the board but I don't care what they charge. It is well worth the money. I have been there several times and had the whole place to myself!
  19. Not a gun law but I am sad that dirks and stilettos are banned.
  20. Trust me, don't go to India.
  21. I was just in India and peeing in public is very common, even on city streets. Enough said. No, I did not partake.
  22. Recommend you put a pair of long steel strips between the safe & studs. Otherwise, sawsall will take it out in a few minutes. Make sure it is covered by a picture.Realistically, "They" will be in and out of your house in 5 minutes- the first time. There is no defense against a determined burgular with time but they are few and far between. If they are determined and talented, they might as well be contractors and make honest money.
  23. If I leave change around the house, our cleaners leave it neatly stacked in the kitchen. 15 years of service and totally trustworthy.
  24. I vote garage- much safer than going down the stairs and I learned that the hard way. Build a plywood cabinet to keep it out of sight. Don't worry about the heat/cold. Wire in a marine dehumidifier stick and the stuff will be fine.
