  1. Get the CG if you want it. Life's too short to shoot cheap gun and believe me, you get what you pay for. And it's worth it it like a good meal. I went from a Browning XTAT to a Krieghoff. There is a world of difference from a great gun to an awesome gun. If you shoot clays, come to CJ 6 - 9 PM Thursdays nights.
  2. No offense but why are the Huskys not harnessed to a sled mushing to the nearest liquor store?
  3. I truly hate the indians from "Windows" that want to fix my computer. They are not even fun to jack with. Great stories about screwing with the nigerians on www.419eater.com LMFAO for hours.
  4. NONE, THEY WERE ALL LOST IN A BOATING ACCIDENT.
  5. Don't forget a shotgun, it's a need not want.
  6. Clay targets are available from the club Thursday nights 6 - 9 under the lights on the shotgun field. $3 per 25 targets. Of course, bring your own shotgun and ammo. Shooting at night is very fun. Metal cans are good in the pits (NO BEER CANS NO WAY NEVER). Invest is some light duty metal targets for the pits from www.cheaperthandirt.com . There are metal disks on frames in the western end short pits, great for .22 only, don't destroy them with your hand-cannon please. On the 200 yard line of the right side rifle range, there are wooden frames permanently installed. Use large paper targets and a staple gun. You won't notice them unless you walk or drive out. (MAKE SURE THE SAFETY LIGHTS ARE ON). Buy your own spotting scope, MUST BUY GUN STUFF.
  7. The best part of fancy engraving is it hides scratches. Much prefered over a plain receiver with a big ol sctatch. Check the fine guns at Griffin and Howe.
  8. Ben Carson said it was not a gun that caused the problem, it was evil. He is correct.
  9. 30 minutes to CJRPC now but I used to go at lunchtime from my other job. 12 minutes and a great way to blow off steam during the day.
  10. Check the nearby jewelry store and use the company he is with. Nothing better than a professionally installed and serviced system. Plus the monitoring office is just a mile from my house. Don't forget the BG is in and out in less time than the cops will respond. Use your safes.
  11. Roadside search questions: Can they look inside a locked tool box in the bed of a pickup? Do I have to give him the key? ANy comments would be much appreciated.
  12. Don't worry about it. Just shoot it.
  13. I was offered 3 jobs this week in North Jersey for good money but nothing beats going home for lunch. I did the 11 hour day for 2 whole months but was aggressively looking for work every minute. Nobody is forcing us to work where we do.
  14. The last Indian that called me "from microsoft to fix my computer"; I offered him my social security number, credit card or bank account number- his choice. I think he died of happy-shock. he could not reply. Scratch one scammer.
  15. Buy a vault door and make a little room. It will be cheaper in the long run. Plus you can stash the furs & household stuff when you go away. Signed, Mr. Six Small Safes (my indian name)
  16. One must buy different calibers for different reasons. Just like having sockets instead of an adjustable wrench. .22 for cans 12g for clay 3006 for steel 45 for ..........................
  17. Great gun. My go to piece for HD. Reliable, scary looking and an awesome club if it fails to make the bang noise. If I could drive around with it, I would. But, noooooooooooo.
  18. HAHAHAHA Love the chains. May install them on my beer holder for safety.
  19. Thanks all. My two brothers are at Picatanny over 25 years each, I am very proud of them. One went to Afghanistan to train soldiers at a FOB. I am ready to go full R & R on the job market. I have been doing home machining for private inventors for years and this will give me more time for my current client. I am looking forward to a clear 40 degree day to shoot at Lehigh Valley. There is a gold lining to this cloud. Wifey bought me a new phone today, had to return the work one. The best part is no more trips to India. What a sewer.
  20. First time in 24 years. They hired a kid in China to do my job, I made look easy but it really isn't. HAHAHAHAHA. At least this gives me time to bust clay. I am a mechanical designer & fabricator of industrial equipment. Electro-mechanical assemblies, hydraulic, pneumatic, low & high voltages are my world. I have been in machine shops for 25 years and in front of customers for that long also. I have 7 US patents & 1 pending- all assigned to my employers. Some were multi-million dollar winners! I have done service throughout the US, India & China. If this Yankee can fit in in Oklahoma, Shanghai, New Delhi and Alabama, he can go anywhere! I am also carrying Merchant Marine Documents (MMD) & TWIC. If anybody has a contact in central Jersey, I will appreciate it. I know how risky it is to recommend someone but I would not disappoint you. Dave

    Bustin Clays

Thursday night trap all winter 6 - 9 PM at CJ.
  22. Big can of wasp spray, I am afraid of guns. The noise scares me.
  23. Make sure you up your insurance to the maximum including "uninsured motorist". I will be billing Travelers for a 1983 accident for the rest of my life. Wear good, high boots, thick socks, heavy leather jacket, full face & gloves even in the summer because you will eventually go down or get hit. Anybody that hasn't never rode a lot. That's just the way it is.
  24. nothing now, dental work and I could not negotiate a glass of Sam. Had to finish it with a straw! Too bad, I was in the mood to pound tonight.
  25. That gun takes about 60 seconds to change the firing pin. Mine looked fine but many light strikes. New pin, problem solved.
