  1. That is for stuff like the semi auto Uzis and such Because, you know, if it LOOKS like a machine gun is must be a machine gun (As a side note, many have seen the video of a full auto DE - look it up, it’s absurd. But that was an aftermarket modification so it doesn’t count for this rule)
  2. Fine, twist my arm - I’ll take the receiver set if we can settle on an FFL. PM en route
  3. I have one 16” home built rifle with a 1-6x that I use for everything - matches, classes, goofing around. I can’t imagine why your LWRC wouldn’t work, especially around here where the longest stage I’ve seen is 100 yards. I’ve even seen a guy using an “Other” and he did just fine I’m way too poor for a Gucci gun anyway.
  4. The Burris Fastfire 2 (not 3, that’s more $$$) is about $150 Probably get more optic for your money if you find something used tho
  5. Not being at home to see what they look like, can’t you just reuse the factory pins that came with the rifle?
  6. I believe the weight limit was for handguns where the magazine is OUTSIDE the grip (e.g. AR pistols and broomhandle Mausers )
  7. If you come up dry here, they go on sale for $40 (+s&h) at Primary Arms relatively often. Don’t think they’re in stock rn tho
  8. I only watch the Olympics as clips on YT because I have plugins to block the ads. The official NBC site went full retard with the ads.
  9. 1 Second After is a work of fiction but it’s plausible and terrifying
  10. Plus it wouldn’t be a HP any more! It would be a filled tip a la Critical Defense but with human tissue rather than polymer. follow me for more legal advice!
  11. I figure once I use HP in self defense I don’t possess them any more. I transferred ownership at 1000 fps
  12. I’ve never ordered a gun from evike but they’ve shipped me parts no problem. I usually get my guns from eBay.
  13. I don’t think it’s *required* but the timing can be advanced to use it. Even my Focus ST can pull enough timing to use 87 because mfrs know people are morons and don’t pay attention if premium was 12% more expensive but it gave you 25% more power and mileage why wouldn’t you?
  14. I’m going from memory because I don’t have that stock any more but I think there is a clamp that is fastened with a screw up by the castle nut. Since the screw can only go through there where the position selector rail doesn’t exist, there is no way to move the stock back without drilling said rail. as long as you’re willing and able to do that modification I’m sure it would be sufficiently “fixed”. But if it was me I’d get a new stock.
  15. So you have that exact configuration? If so that’s the magpul fixed carbine stock and it can’t be adjusted. You’d have to get a new stock and pin it where you want if you’re saying you’ve already swapped that out then all the other posters’ wisdom applies
  16. That’s doesnt look like normal wear is there something protruding under the sight inside the slide? I don’t think the falling-block 92 doesn’t make the same “barrel smiles” that the camming-barrel Browning pistols do but if that’s a scratch in the barrel nitriding something is not right
  17. This is the Burris Speedbead on my 870. I know they make one for the OP’s 1301, not sure about an Escort - only if the stock mount is similar to a well known gun I would guess its made to fit a fast fire but it’s really low and out of the way. I haven’t decided whether I like a dot on my shotgun but I think this is a neat solution
  18. I think I use the same, although my Stealth Gear IWB is a “vent core”. Isn’t “mini tuck” a Crossbreed model?
  19. That was written by an NPR correspondent and published by vanity fair so take your grains of salt but if this guy Wayne actually cared about the NRA he’d fall on his sword, guilty or not. Take his golden parachute and GTFO so the rest of the organization can move on
  20. I have a 1-6x Strike Eagle (they make 1-8 now too) and it does everything I want it to do. Only a few hundred bucks and good warranty edit: never mind I see you want precision work out to 300 yards. Probably not a great fit then, but I really like the new LVPOs bc they act like almost a dot up close and still can take the longer shots.
