Chad 3 Posted January 30, 2010 Booker T & the MG's - Green Onions... I have a hard time listening to anything made after the mid 80's. I want to hear someone's voice, and not a computer voice. Also, I like instruments to sound like instruments and not computer generated noise. Today's music isn't music to me.
mjsemtex 0 Posted January 30, 2010 Booker T & the MG's - Green Onions... the entire album or just that single song? i just heard a short interview with him on the radio. apparently, he's still recording. they were one of first 'integrated' bands... i think tom dowd was responsible for some of their best sessions at sun studios. maideneddie 35 Posted January 30, 2010 Porcupine Tree, and always Iron Maiden. I have a deep passion for progressive rock, metal (not that hard core stuff you can't understand the vocals to), and jazz/fusion jazz. As you can see my taste is a little diverse. Thank god the I-pod and satellite radio were invented!

mjsemtex 0 Posted January 30, 2010 Porcupine Tree... I have a deep passion for progressive rock do you like marillion? I never heard of them. What kind of sound is it? they've been around since '79... started out as a very dramatic prog rock band. have changed vocalists since their beginnings so their sound has evolved. hard to pin them down. http://www.marillion.com/ i mention it because i've heard many of their fans also mention porcupine tree.
