Quick Chek actually has some pretty good soups. The corn poblano chowder is my favorite, but the chicken pot pie is solid too.

OK, I got there and jolly ole Joe was hocking his Roast Beef Au Jus Sandwhiches as "out of this world" and "unbelievable". So knowing Joe to be a reputable food vendor, I took his advice:

 

~ Roast Beef au Jus - Hot Oven Roasted Roast Beef Topped With Our Warm Homemade Fresh Mozzarella Cheese Drenched In au Jus Sauce Served On a 10" French Bread $7.00

 

The following picture sucks, but Joe was right. This was the best roast beef sandwich I've eaten in a long time. It was cooked perfectly, and it melted in your mouth like butter. The bread had just the right amount of au Jus soaked into the top to marry it in symphonic harmony with the meat and cheese. A bit of salt and pepper added by myself sent it into outer space.

Use Polenta for much heartier meal. Pair it with a nice full bodied red wine and you'll have a winner.

Went to post office, again, twice this week, two days in a row, and 7 times in the past 2 weeks.
