I saw a coyote in Jackson, about 3 weeks ago running across 528 just west of the swamp, where the tree farm is. That area has the WMA on either side. I know what coyotes look like, have seen the smaller ones up close in AZ and CA, it was defienetly a coyote :shock:

We have coyotes down in Salem county.

Northeast has hybrid coyote-wolves(Coywolf) that weigh 60-90 pounds.

I didn't even know we had coyote's in Jersey. Either Way I got no worries. My buddy Dozer over here will get him.. Unless the coyote pulls out a vacuum cleaner.. Or a broom... Or a mop... Yea my dogs big and stupid

We have yotes in ocean and monmouth county. No one really does anything because they kill a deer here and there

I didn't realize we had yotes in NJ either. Now my neighbor doesn't sound crazy when he said he thought he saw one running through our neighborhood the other day, and I wasn't just hearing things when I thought I heard some yotes at night a few times (the high pitch squeal/bark).

I was thinking the same thing, only with my pitbull instead. Not too many ferrel animals here in camden county...you can say that most of them have been captured and eaten by the "natives"
