Essex County NRA Dinner Invitation

Recommended Posts

Essex County Friends of the NRA dinner Thursday 9/15/2011. Do not miss this event. Last year we broke all the records raising money for the shooting sports in NJ. This year we expect to sell out. Do not miss the chance to attend. Please look at our different levels of sponsorship. Last year the Captains tickets were 7 -1 odds to win a firearm (or an item of equal value). If you cannot attend please consider advertising in our program or being a sponsor. This will be over 500 like minded people in one room only six weeks before the NJ elections. Please show your support for the NRA foundation.

16 Guns on the block and over $25,000 in prizes!

I am donating another AR this year also.

The money raised is used to promote the shooting sports in New Jersey.

Thank You Anthony

Can we get a NJGF table??

Come on guys, lets get it done!

Maks, hook it up!

Note the silence. LOL

I hope at least you will show up.

And we wonder why we cannot get an election to go our way in this State.

No sir. The NRA Foundation is non political. It is a non profit division, we cannot even have politicians speak at the event. You can walk around during the dinner and pass out cards behind my back!

Really? I thought they would support us

Tom, we are not even allowed to mention the NRA. This is a separate not for profit. The NRA Foundation. All of the money raised is tax free and is used to fund and promote the shooting sports in the States the dinner is being held. If we allow political organizations to speak and display at the dinner it violate that tax exempt status.

$50.00 for dinner at Mayfair Farms is a steal! I can't be there due to work issues. Too bad everyone here isn't excited about going. I wonder how many members belong to the NRA and how many don't, just hanging on the coat-tails so to speak?

Smoking .50 i wonder the same. How many forum members belong to the NRA? Im sure there is alot but every member should belong atleast to the NRA. What is it $35 a year or something? Anyway back on topic, is there more of these dinners through the year? i already have a function to attend the same night.

Yes, they're held all over the State. You may have to drive a little to get to one. Go to the ANJR&PC web site for a link to the foundation for a list of venues or check the News & Briefs newsletter for a listing.

I will definitely be there. I will look into getting a table for the NJ2AS. I am promoting the event among the members of the NJ2AS. The NRA plays a VERY important role in the present and future of gun rights throughout the Nation, as they have in the past. It isn't necessary to agree with every action they take in order to realize the impact they have on gun rights. When you look at the aggregate of what they have accomplished and how much REALLY BAD legislation they have blocked, it is easy to see how bad thing would be without the NRA. So, I encourage EVERYONE to PLEASE consider attending this event. If you absolutely cannot make this date there are other Friends of the NRA events you can attend, but THIS one is the premiere event. Anthony put on the largest FNRA dinner in the history of the State last year. You all know Anthony and you know how dedicated he is to RKBA in New Jersey. Not only is he on the board of ANJRPC and NJ2AS but he also co-produces and presents the weekly GUN FOR HIRE RADIO podcasts www.gunforhireradio.com. If you haven't been listening then you are missing one of the BEST resources in New Jersey for gun owners. Anyway, enough about Anthony - his head BARELY fits through the door as it is. Succinctly, the NRA deserves our support and attending The Essex County FNRA dinner is one of the best ways to accomplish that.

Thanks for listening (reading actually).

The ffl is the Bullet Hole Ray. Will that have any bearing as to whether you attend or not? Can't help that. I head up this dinner to raise money for the FNRA for grant money for the State ALL politics and BS aside.
