JETagent 1 Posted October 18, 2011 Well, I guess ANYTHINGS possible Factory mags, not limp wristing, using LVE steel case copper washed russian stuff. The ammo that was like $7.50/box from AIM. Gun has a few thousand rounds without issues. Im blaming this one on the ammo I should at least get style points for having the case do a complete flip! BTW, forgot to switch accounts. JonF 79 Posted October 18, 2011 Did it feel like a weaker charge? i've had that happen with a few guns when my reloads are scraping the bottom of the power factor envelope.
Maksim 1,504 Posted October 18, 2011 Glenn, BS. That would never happen to a glock..... :thsmiley_deadhorse: But yes... russian non brass ammo does not seal as well, thus you have problems getting it to fully cycle. Try a different recoil spring. JETagent 1 Posted October 18, 2011 It wasnt even my ammo, I shoot reloads. About the whole sealing thing, If it didnt seal well enough to cycle (major gas loss) the case wouldnt be as clean as it is... I've had 7.62x25 rounds split all the way down to the base and still cycled fine lol, and im sure that lost alot more gas. It all felt pretty weak though. Rifleman1 32 Posted October 18, 2011 You know you're supposed to change that spring after every 5,000 rounds. They do weaken...
