Very nice, still like the 617 w/6" barrel for what I want to use it for but would still like to have one of these, is there something sick about wanting 1 of everything??

The newest LCR maintains all the features of the critically acclaimed original LCR. The 1-7/8" barrel and eight-shot cylinder are constructed of stainless steel, and the cylinder is highly fluted to reduce weight. The frame is machined from an aerospace-grade aluminum forging, and the fire control housing is molded from rugged and durable glass-filled nylon. The fire control system utilizes Ruger's patented friction reducing cam that provides a uniquely smooth, non-stacking trigger pull.

Not bad, but that's DA/SA with an external hammer. The LCR-22 is DAO with no external hammer. Not exactly the same, and the LCR is cheaper

Nick good point about the external hammer. As far a price the Smith is an all steel gun not some new techno-tactical polymer with steel inserts.

 

I prefer the 317 Kit gun. Standard 317 w 3" barrel and a fiber optic front sight.
