We were discussing in chat tonight, just how many guns we buy, and then end up being safe queens. You know, they may get 500 rounds through them in their lifetime.
Obviously we don't buy a gun and intend on not shooting it, ok, not collectibles. Tactical Tupperwear sitting in the corner of the safe unfired is not a collectible... collecting dust perhaps.
So....
What safe queens do you have, and what percentage of your total gun collection/portfolio do they represent.
Dino was asking the question and I would assume that he and most everyone here got their initial FPID card before 10/25/2022! These cards do NOT expire after 10 years. I got my card in 1983 and it still works just fine!
Not true. This is right off of the NJSP website.
"All initial Firearms Purchaser Identification Cards submitted for after 10/25/2022 shall display a color photograph and shall expire during the tenth calendar year following its date of issuance. Any subsequent approved application shall renew the Firearms Purchaser Identification Card for an additional ten years."
