This is even more crazy.  You can just get an airplane ticket in SF without an ID.  

Bc so many people get their cars broken into and their bags stolen, @SouthwestAir was very used to my lack-of-ID problem and smoothly gave me my ticket after a brief security check.

I’ve been told you can use something like a credit card statement as a form of ID to board a flight!
