It's not really foam filler, it's spray insullation. Very strong stuff and holds in heat in the winter and keeps the cool air in in the summer. Just make sure your finished with the wiring since it fills EVERY hole and attaches to EVERYTHING in the ceiling.

back in the day I did a bit of climbing...it looks like an ax for climbing ice....one end to chop a foot notch or smooth off rough ice...other end used to dig in for hand hold or use as a hammer

Is it used to open 55 gal drums, the kind with removable lids that crimp down, or 5 gal pails of grease, like GAA comes in. If its not it looks like it would work.

Crash axe from an aircraft, used to hack oneself or others out or the wreckage. When we did ABDR training (patching up shot up airplanes) we used this to hack holes in the Mig21 & mystere hulks for our fellow trainees to patch up.

It's a fire axe. Look for smoke and feel for heat, punch hole or pry open, spray fire extinguisher through the hole.

 

The reason the handle has so much rubber is to prevent electrocution when doing so.

 

You find them on aircraft.

 

Some call it a crash axe.

 

You can also use it to help you get out of the plane, but it's not really made for that. It's made to fight fire.
