Celraysoda 7 Posted February 14, 2012 Chainsaw that is! Just picked up a Husqvarna 435. Can't tell you how happy I am with this one. Weight and power were key factors as some of my property can be steep. I would definitely recommend this one. Already took down and sectioned 3 trees for next years fire wood.
intercooler 41 Posted February 14, 2012 husky is my brand! Only saw I will own. I have 3 and worked at a tree service that was using xp's...they are great saws! (stihls are too btw)
Urban Grunt 44 Posted February 14, 2012 I have the 20" bar Husq, starts first time, trouble free for the last 5 years......enjoy
Celraysoda 7 Posted February 14, 2012 I have the 20" bar Husq, starts first time, trouble free for the last 5 years......enjoy I considered the 20" bar but really figured it was overkill. They had a 36" saw there, looked crazy!

RecessedFilter 222 Posted February 14, 2012 I have an electric one, good for small things but need to upgrade badly to a nice Stihl or Husky. Just wish they were so much money.

halbautomatisch 60 Posted February 14, 2012 Check this out! (not me) I remember some time ago the guy at my local Stihl dealership telling me that when ever he would see guys come in speaking Portuguese and looking at chain saws they would always end up buying that model, they would then ship it down to Brazil so they could cut down the rain forest. rdsmith3 19 Posted February 14, 2012 Check this out! (not me) Kenvil Power Mower? I am a Stihl man, but Husky makes good stuff. If it came with a safety chain, get rid of it and get a real chain. It will make a huge difference if you're cutting oak or other hard woods.

BigAl 10 Posted February 14, 2012 Me too. I really wanted to see a 249 OK. Glad I wasn't the only one. Nice saw anyhow. Now we know who to call if we need a tree down
djg0770 481 Posted February 14, 2012 IMO a chainsaw is an absolute necessity at TEOTWAWKI... Even more so than a squad automatic weapon.
