67gtonut 847 Posted March 4, 2012 I just wanted to post because I am so proud and excited ! We all had a great time I will post pics when I get back to nj They of course loved the 22 rifle The 22 pistol not as much, mainly due to the fact the MP 22 does not like to be loosely gripped and at times would not feed the next round The younger one (14) even fired a round thru my carry gun, the M&P 9c Their eyes (including my sister) got as big as saucers when the guy in the next port starting firing his 357mag.....LOL All in all a great day The people down here are awesome... Didn't even charge me full price since I was teaching young shooters The range officer even did an impromptu test on one of them before we went in to the range He put a blue gun down on the counter and asked one of the girls to pick it up..... She did perfect , trigger finger right onto the frame He looked at me and said.... Good job teaching I was proud of them Like I said .... I will post pics in few days
MarkWVU02 47 Posted March 4, 2012 Sounds like a great day! My four and a half year old nephew and I shot the Red Ryder today. It was his first time haha. I was teaching him all the rules and he did pretty well. It's still a little big for him but we managed. It's great to start them off young and teach them the right way. JimmyAGR 54 Posted March 4, 2012 That's great, glad you had a blast and got to pass on some knowledge. Love teaching kids and watching their face as the squeeze the trigger the first time.
