No reason why you shouldn't. The 38 super factory load is a sweet shooter. The only downside is ammo availability and cost. You don't usually find your local gun store stocking this caliber.

I have two of them.. love them both, i reload all my ammo had a tough time for a while getting new casings but they seem to be available now..

Actually, it would be an inconvenience. See, it's harder to get 38super than 45acp. So therefore, it's an inconvenience.

why stop at 1911? Just get a 2011 HiCap and be done with it. Add a C-More sight and a comp and you'll be up there with the Big Boys Club, lol! They even make pink ones for Girly Men, lol!

Yes. Get one. You can always get another barrel fit for it in 9mm for cheaper ammo. Just a thought.
