silverado427 10,775 Posted December 1, 2012 I use a toothbrush and my favorite solvent, Sometimes just a rag and solvent.
BigHayden 77 Posted December 4, 2012 I'm sold on the Mil-Comm stuff that's advertised on Gun For Hire Radio. That stuff is awesome, and does a great job getting the gunk off of everything.

JayWilling 33 Posted December 4, 2012 Wife uses those lead remover rags - cuts little patches and uses them everywhere. Works really well and doesn't hurt anything. Use on stainless ONLY.
TheDon 3 Posted December 5, 2012 (edited) Every firearm I own gets a good scrubbing and a heavy coating of Slip2000 the day it comes home and I let it cure for as long as possible (even a week or more) before wiping it off. Nothing sticks to it. After shooting, I just dab some Slip2000 on a shotgun patch and wipe everything clean. I have not needed to use a solvent since I started using Slip2000. Even the boltface wipes clean. Edited December 5, 2012 by TheDon
