Pro-gun rally in Albany today

Recommended Posts

How come they get to have sticks when they protest?

They weren't supposed to.

Organizers for the day, which include the New York State Rifle and Pistol Association, gave advice to the protesters. Keep your guns – and any empty holsters that could serve as a sign of protest – at home. Signs must be handheld, with no stakes. Avoid wearing hunter’s orange or camouflage so media images don’t easily make caricatures out of gun owners.

Crappy weather today too, glad they had a good turnout. Any tinfoil hat types want to claim that the gubberment is using weather control to dampen our pro 2A rallies?

But seriously, do we think they got the 10k they were expecting to show up?

what happened to the buses of obamas droids to counter protest?

I think they caught wind that some of the SEIU members were going to protest as pro 2A and/or Pro2A people were registering for the buses.

Wow. This is great and sad at the same time. Great because of the number of people and that they came from all over the state. Sad because our process failed and the laws were rammed through.

At least here in NJ we have several wonderful organizations that have helped us go and put on demonstrations, go to the public hearings, and visit lots of local events.

I hope we don't get to the point where we have to put on a demonstration against the new bills when they become law.
