vladtepes 1,060 Posted January 19, 2015 Do not understand the bungee cord?
Toast 0 Posted January 19, 2015 Do not understand the bungee cord? biggest advantage is grip when wet, and if needed in a survival situation but it's also advertised to quiet the gun(guessing it has to do with rail vibrations?)

You picked some really nice parts... But with all due respect I'm not buying the bungee cord bit.. Quiets the gun down? Can't tell if serious... Toast 0 Posted January 19, 2015 I agree I don't believe it quiets the gun at all, but added grip and utility is pretty nice, could be used as a tourniquet as well as just rope if needed. Honestly I liked the look and not many people have them so i went for it haha

louu 399 Posted January 19, 2015 Nice looking rifle and welcome to the forum. Whats the button above the mag release?
Rob0115 1,107 Posted January 19, 2015 It could be an ambi bolt release.
Lalo 13 Posted January 19, 2015 True tacticool operators use paracord instead of bungee cord...
Toast 0 Posted January 19, 2015 The lever Infront of the trigger is ambi mag release and the lever just under the ejection port is bolt release
vjf915 456 Posted January 20, 2015 Are you left handed?
papercutninja 24 Posted January 20, 2015 http://warsport-us.com/shop/war-sport-gear/lvoa-rail-bungee.html#.VL2oFS47VRE Warsport came up with it for their LVOA. Some people use, it some people don't. Works for some people, doesn't work for others.
louu 399 Posted January 20, 2015 I just spent some time reading stuff about that lower and it seems really cool. Could come in handy for right handed shooters in 3 gun if you accidentally run dry.
Toast 0 Posted January 20, 2015 Yep left handed. In my opinion it's the best lower on the market next to the AXTS lower but santan is almost half the price. The flared mag well is great, controls are all easily accessible(no finger stretching to get to the Troy ambi mag release) and it has integrated QD sling mounts on both sides
vjf915 456 Posted January 20, 2015 It's interesting, but I guess I'm finding it odd that the controls are in different places based on which side you're operating them from. Toast can you elaborate/explain this a bit?
Toast 0 Posted January 20, 2015 It's interesting, but I guess I'm finding it odd that the controls are in different places based on which side you're operating them from. Toast can you elaborate/explain this a bit? The left handed mag release drops down to the edge of the trigger guard so it's easily accessible, and the bolt catch above the right side mag release is manipulated as you load the next mag you tap it with your thumb dropping the carrier into battery. That is how I run it, if a right handed shooter is using it he doesn't need to slap the bolt release with the off hand, his finger can hit the right sided release easily.
