Howard 538 Posted May 1, 2015 Lipstick on a pig is still a pig It looks nice, but I find the Beretta is just too big for average sized hands. I know I cannot get to the mag release without rotating my grip.

ronhonda 86 Posted May 1, 2015 At the end of the day it's still a Beretta.
Rob0115 1,107 Posted May 1, 2015 Ron I'll disagree. I had mine done and it is completely transformed. I'll let you shoot and you let me know. OP if you're serious you can fire mine if you are near WPR.
ronhonda 86 Posted May 1, 2015 It's a personal thing. I am not a fan of the Beretta. I can shoot them well with no problem and like any gun they can be tuned, tweeked, massaged to be a better "feeling" gun. I look forward to handling it maybe I'll change my opinion. Jpknj 6 Posted May 1, 2015 I like the look. But you could do Custom CZ 75 Tactical a lot cheaper.
DeletePLS 178 Posted May 1, 2015 I had one in hand with cash in the other to buy, Wilson Combat takes great pictures, the gun doesn't look half as nice in person had to pass on this. I really wanted to like this gun, I'm pretty sure Wilson doesn't do anything with the gun, looks like Wilson parts put together and fit in the Beretta factory. You are correct it is built by Beretta in Beretta's factory. There are some WC parts in it (that WC sends to Beretta for them to install), but the gun is made to WC's specifications for tolerances and finish and comes with a Beretta warranty. Basically it's the Beretta SHOULD be making on their own anyways. The price is definitely a stumbling point for a lot of people, but those who have actually shot one have said it's well worth the price of admission. If I hadn't picked up one of the new run of 92G's a couple weeks before the WC92 came out, I probably would have got for the latter.
ronhonda 86 Posted May 1, 2015 I like the look. But you could do Custom CZ 75 Tactical a lot cheaper.This.The shadows and SP-01's are really nice guns out of the box and when you get a custom shop versions are lights out. If I was in the market for a da/sa type gun it would be a CZ for me. Again just my preference. And all that being said, I much rather have a S_I 2011 in 9mm FTW. Rob0115 1,107 Posted May 2, 2015 Maybe it's different when you buy the gun already done. I know those have Wilson combat serial numbers, trigger parts, G10 decocker, grips, barrel reduction. I had an existing 92 that I sent to Wilson and had done where the gun was completely stripped to bare metal, worked by their gunsmith, re-coated with the coating I wanted, trigger that I asked for, barrel cut and crown, grips, sights, stippling, mag well work, etc. It is a completely transformed gun.
