Agreed, I was just able to find them for $34.99 a few weeks ago. Once you factor in shipping, transfer and NICS, it still worked out to at least $75 a piece.

Then you're doing this wrong.

Sure, I paid a few $$ more, but the opportunity cost of driving all the way out there just didn't seem worth it when I have a local FFL who is happy to meet 8pm on a weekday (Louie G's Outdoors, Secaucus). Hackettstown is over 1 hour drive for me, so I figured $73.92 per lower worked out instead of spending the $20 I could have saved on gas and missing dinner with my boy. Here's my breakdown:

 

2 lowers plus shipping: $77.84

NICS: $15.00

Transfer #1: $35.00

Transfer #2: $20.00
