gleninjersey 2,141 Posted May 17, 2016 GIGANTIC soft pretzels served on pizza plates, large platters of sausages and German beer. A few blocks from Penn Station. Highly recommend it if you're in city and looking for a place to have beer and some bar grub. Their wings were pretty decent as well. http://mobile.dudamobile.com/site/reichenbachhallcom?url=http%3A%2F%2Freichenbachhall.com%2F&utm_referrer=#2668
Krdshrk 3,877 Posted May 17, 2016 I was just there last Thursday. I always get the wings and definitely share the pretzels with friends. Great selection of beers. They have Das Boot - the beer boot. Also - the Shot Ski:
DaveR 42 Posted May 17, 2016 Another good place is the Zeppelin Hall in Jersey City, One block from the Hudson-Bergen light rail stop (Jersey Ave) or four blocks from the Grove St. PATH station. http://www.zeppelinhall.com/
High Exposure 5,664 Posted May 17, 2016 Ice liebe deutsches Essen und Bier! The Asbury Biergarten and Festhall is superb. A Kostritzer and some Sauerbraten. I just may go tonight! http://www.asburybiergarten.com Also, Killmeyer's on SI isn't too bad either: http://www.killmeyers.com/ I will be checking out Reichenbach ASAP! I like a place by my hometown in SI. Nurnberger Bierhaus on Forest Ave. We should do a bierhaus NJGF meet up Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

Ricky_Bobby 130 Posted May 17, 2016 I've been also meaning to try Jockey Hollow's beer hall in Morristown - heard its pretty nice - +1 for Zeppelin Hall, great time if you take the train to get silly.
weekend_junkie 129 Posted May 17, 2016 I walk past this place every morning. Always a treat to get the schnitzel and beer. The blonde girl on their advertising is an actual waitress there too!

I've been also meaning to try Jockey Hollow's beer hall in Morristown - heard its pretty nice - +1 for Zeppelin Hall, great time if you take the train to get silly. Jockey Hollow Bar & Kitchen is better for cocktails IMHO. I love their Oyster Bar.

gleninjersey 2,141 Posted May 17, 2016 Sounds like we should have a meet up here of NJGF members who work in NYC.
Damjan 73 Posted May 17, 2016 I vote Zeppelin Hall for a meetup. Close enough to NYC but on our side of the River. Thursdays they used to have free bacon. Used to work around the corner until 6 months ago.
mipafox 438 Posted May 17, 2016 I'm not going to NYC but Roladen and smoked eel for the win.
leadunderpressure 52 Posted May 22, 2016 Hoboken has the nice beer garden on 14th street. Avoid the NYC crap. Pilsener Haus.

leadunderpressure 52 Posted May 22, 2016 But you don't have to pay obnoxious tolls. I do like the biergarten in Hoboken however. Non crappy.
