Nucrunner 75 Posted October 6, 2018 Heading up from the southern part of the state for a conference next weekend. Staying at the Sheraton Parsippany. I plan on checking out the Gun4hire facility while I’m up there. Anything, anyplace else in the area that might interest a gun guy? Gun store with a good selection of used S&W revolvers would be great!
Fred2 367 Posted October 6, 2018 RTSP is not far from Parsippany
Fred2 367 Posted October 6, 2018 And be sure to get some Taylor Ham while you are up here. Espisito's in East Hanover makes a great TH Egg and Cheese on a roll. https://www.espositosmeatsanddeli.com/
Mrs. Peel 7,157 Posted October 6, 2018 Hmm... perhaps someone else can weigh in and help clarify this...? There's a business in Whippany called Firearms Support & Service (FSS) - it's the same exact address as Gunsitters - a storage facility. Sooo… is this the same business? An affiliate? Or did one buy out the other? I'm just not clear on this. But... the site is not terribly far from where you're staying, @Nucrunner. And I do seem to recall hearing that there is a decent collection of guns for sale at that site. Anyway, might be worth a call to figure out what it's all about and see if it's worth your time to visit. Here's the links. Good luck! https://store.firearmssupport.com/ https://www.gunsitters.com/

You enter on the street level but the shop and vaults for storage are underground.
revenger 473 Posted October 6, 2018 FSS has some nice .22 rifles in the back room, they had a nice collection of the Remington nylon series of rifles.
brucin 923 Posted October 6, 2018 Absolutely check out FSS in Whippany. You never know what will be on the shelves and their prices are great unless it's a consignment item. Then They don't have as much control but prices are still pretty good.

If you stop there, be sure to stop at the Original Pancake House in the same strip. Dynamite food.
Bklynracer 1,265 Posted October 6, 2018 Been there, haven't both anything from them yet. Nice place with nice items. Make sure you ask to see the vault where the long guns and nicer items are, you can't see it from the main room. They also have a room with a simulator. might actually stop by today and RSTP, nothing else to do today, Looks like a rainy day.

And the pancake house food is horrible. I don't know how they stay in business.

Lakota 342 Posted October 6, 2018 Also have County Line Firearms in East Hanover on RT 10... which is not that far from there either. Smaller shop but probably still worth a look.
