The reckoning is coming. Sara Carter: There will be indictments. It will be an avalanche and according to the sources I was speaking with just today people are already turning on each other. So we are going to see people, senior officials within the FBI, people within the DOJ, that are going to try to throw their colleagues under the bus just to save themselves. And I think they need to be very concerned about what they did.

Just a quick introduction from a new guy. I've been a lurker here for awhile, it's a great forum. Originally from NY, used to shoot more often back then, and moved here 8 years ago. Finally getting my FPID and a few P2P's here and looking forward to getting back to it. I just joined ANJRPC and will probably be checking out Reloaderz and G4H shortly.

Good to hear. I'm in NC so guns cost what they cost.

Re: Rimfire... Avoid ANYTHING Winchester rimfire. Golden Bullets have probably the worst reputation of any specific [rimfire] product line out there, short of possibly Thunderbolts (When the nickname "Thunderturds" is more common than the actual name, that's probably a bad thing...), but as a WHOLE, Winchester rimfire ammo in the last 5+ years has been atrocious at best. For what it is worth, I have actually had reasonably good luck with Golden Bullets, and one of my guns actually loves the things. Rimfire guns are picky eaters at best, so I understand that one gun may not like brand X - and you work around that. But when one brand consistently performs horribly, if it even performs at all, in a multitude of guns including semi-auto and even bolt action and across multiple calibers...that's just bad manufacturing. I've had greater than 50% failure to fire rates with some Winchester ammo in multiple semi-autos, and 30+% failure-to-fire rates even in bolt guns which have fired (and continue to fire) thousands to even tens of thousands of other brand rounds reliably the first time. I simply will not buy Winchester rimfire ammo again - it is not worth the hassles even if it were free. All that said, if your .22LR cannot function with CCI MiniMags, then IMO abandon all hope for that gun ever working properly. As for Wolf Match .22, I believe that is actually manufactured by SK, which is a part of Lapua, so totally different from other Wolf ammo AFAIK. Has the same headstamp as SK and Lapua Center-X from what I remember. And if you ARE looking for serious accuracy in .22s, you're looking at $10+/50 ammos from RWS, Lapua, and Eley. As for centerfire, Federal, CCI, Remington, PMC, and even Winchester have all worked fine for me. Some are dirtier than others, but for range ammo, buy the cheapest stuff that runs safely in your gun, and if need be, do a basic cleaning more often. And if your Winchester White Box ammo locks your gun up so bad you can't move the action whatsoever, just throw your gun into the next range to unjam it, then continue shooting*. *I really hope I don't have to tell you to not actually do this. Unfortunately a former member apparently thought this was a good idea and actually did so. Link for tips on how not to act:

Correct. And as per my conversations with Ruger, keep in mind I am not an engineer... but this gun, this frame will only be 22LR. Heritage is avail in 22 wmr... and Ruger felt it was not durable enough and only a matter of time... as such, THIS revolver will be 22lr only. Already is... and the samples I shot, there were zero malfunctions and we ran the heck out of those guns. And of course the guns are under full warranty. So don't hesitate to buy one especially if you have permits already. Murphy just may make every handgun $50 to $100 more expensive really soon.

You did them in the wrong order, whiskey first tends to help the repair go easier. (Or you tend not to care as much when you screw up) :)

Pete has it right. Federal, is part of Vista Outdoors and they are the largest ammo mfr here in the states. (for civilian). They will generally package ammo for walmart that is branded for them. There is a bit of difference in some lines, such as LE or match type ammo, but generally, buy the cheapest you can find. As long as it is new ammo, it will be fine. Winchester White Box runs a bit dirtier and have I have seen issues with factory ammo over the years. Federal, American Eagle, Speer, Blazer Brass... all fine. With 22lr... there is some difference.

None. For range use/general plinking it makes absolutely no difference. Any of the big name manufacturers "range" ammo is good to go. If you pull the trigger and it goes bang, that is range ammo. If you are looking home Defense or precision/ long range shooting, thats when ammo quality really comes into play.

I have one on pre-order and will let y'all know what I think of it when I take delivery. The Bearcat is a $500 gun nowadays.

I'm disappointed. Any respectable oenophile would surely know that won't pair with Swansons. I generally find my delicate palate drawn in another direction.

Why not a bunch of denials? Here's why: Too many PUSSIES were afraid of a denial costing them the ability to apply for more P2P's! OMG, what do I do if they ask me about a denial? FACT: No matter how many times Almeida was denied, he explained it all away and there was NO delay in processing P2P's. Ever. The Stockholm Syndrome is strong here...

Problem is nobody applies for the carry permits. So there is no records of large numbers of denials. This was argued successfully by the State in one of these lawsuits about 6 or 7 years back.

Letter to My Boss: I have enjoyed working here these past several years. You have paid me very well and given me benefits beyond belief. Have 3-4 months off per year and a pension plan that will pay my salary till the day I die and then pay my estate one year salary death bonus and then continue to pay my spouse my salary with increases until she or he dies and a health plan that most people can only dream of having . Despite this, I plan to take the next 12-18 months to seek a new position. During this time I will show up for work when it is convenient for me. In addition, I fully expect to draw my full salary and all the other perks associated with my current job. Oh yes, if my search for this new job proves fruitless, I will be coming back with no loss in pay or status. Before you say anything, remember that you have no choice in this matter. I can, and I will do this. Sincerely, Every Senator or Congressman running for President Come to think of it, that's not really that funny.

Jewels of Wisdom from Court Finding California Magazine Ban Unconstitutional Ammoland Inc. Posted on April 15, 2019 by Dean Weingarten U.S.A. –-(Ammoland.com)- On 29 March, 2019, Judge Roger T. Benitez granted a motion for summary judgement against California Attorney General Xavier Becerra in the case of Duncan v. Becerra. California's Byzantine regulations and bans on firearms magazines of over 10 round capacity were ruled unconstitutional under the Second and Fourteenth Amendments of the United States Constitution. I have read the decision by Judge Benitez. It is well worth reading. At 86 pages, many will not take the time and energy to read the densely argued document. Below, I have transcribed my choice of the jewels of this masterfully reasoned and written order. The selections are my own; others may disagree. They are in order, as found in the court document. I list the pages as an aid to others. Many will recognize the cogent arguments put forward by the Honorable Roger T. Benitez. They have been made by Second Amendment supporters for decades. Judge Benitez first shows how the California magazine ban fails the simple and obvious test of constitutionality under the Heller decision. Next, Judge Benitez shows how, even under the Ninth Circuit's convoluted “Tripartite Binary Test with a Sliding Scale and Reasonable Fit” the California ban still fails miserably. Near the end of the document, Judge Benitez eviserates the attempt by the State of California to define ordinary magazines as “a nuisance”. The conclusion of the order is exceedingly well done. I have not cut or edited it. It is on page 84-85 of the court document. Judge Benitez has done the Republic a valuable service. He has shown himself highly capable, and more importantly, seriously committed to the rule of law. The Nation, and no doubt, President Trump, are taking notice. https://www.ammoland.com/2019/04/jewels-of-wisdom-from-court-finding-california-magazine-ban-unconstitutional

OK, I'll play. I am somewhat of a watch junky, although those for daily wear are generally inexpensive to mid-range... Top row (L to R): Torgeon / Wenger (Swiss Army) / Tag Pro / Bulova Precisionist / Techno Marine Bottom Row (L to R): HOH Bedlam / Seiko / Victorinox (Swiss Army) / Lum Tec I discovered how comfortable silicone watch straps are, so have converted all my daily wear watches to them. They also come in a wide variety of styles and colors. I have a couple old-style (small case) Omegas and a number of Seikos that are all gathering dust on my dresser, but the nine pictured are in the regular daily rotation. Adios, Pizza Bob
