what are your favorite handgun sights?

i have a p226, and am considering trijicon night sights. but i've heard mixed reviews of the 3 dot setup. right now i have to stock setup.

 

what are your preferences on handgun sights.

Meprolights are brighter than Trigicons. They are also more visible in brighter light unless the Trigicons come with thick white outline around the tubes. Sig factory night sights are made by Meprolights.

I like the newer 10-8 rear sight design for the 1911. Dont know if they make them for Sigs.

I have the factory TRUGLOW front sight and SIGLITE rear sights on my 226 and I like them a lot. Indoor or outdoor you can pick up the sights faster.

I'm so used to shooting with the three white dots in semi's that I don't wanna switch.

I also like the all black front and rear sights on my revolvers since, again, that's what I'm used to.

I like target sights, Meprolite is good stuff.

 

I am sending my S&W 1911 to Harrison Custom for a gold stripe on the front sight. It catches all ambient light as it is real gold braided into the front sight.
