Hello everyone, don't have a gun (yet) going for the permit tomorrow in my hometown.

I used to go to a shooting range a long time ago in down-town Paterson. Went back a couple of weeks ago and was asked for a permit and my own gun to use the facility, it was a shock to me cause I never needed one and used to rent the gun there. That's why I'm going for my permit to purchase a gun tomorrow.

some ranges have instituted this sort of policy that if you come alone and want to rent a gun, you have to have one of your own. this is supposedly so that people don't come in, rent a gun and shoot themselves (on purpose). if you come with a buddy, you're good... unless you're both looking to shoot yourselves... then maybe not so good...
